A simple gift, a rose or two
A thoughtful gesture that says "I love you"
A meaningful embrace, tangled hearts
A failed attempt of evading love darts.
For never would you have guessed, that you would be that person.
The one that lives for another and no other reason
The one that love has in a stronghold,
Who never would have imagined that a single smile would be the reason they fold.
All the time spend avoiding love like it is a sickness
Has proven to be completely fruitless.
For now in spite of it all
You you fail to avoid the fall.
And now the happiness you had never known
On you is brightly shown
So
