Time spent together is always so short,
My body craves your touch right from the start.
Even next to me there is distances between our hearts.
We are forever worlds apart
You are like a dream come through
It pains my heart to be away from you.
Now like that dream, when I wake up you are not here.
Giving life to my biggest fear.
Some things are made to last
And others are meant to be left in the past.
The you and me that was, will never be again
A once upon a time that won't happily end
A forever that is limited, an eternity that is dated.
The uncertainty of a future that was once fated.
Pages unturned ... stories untold.
A body that was mine, I can no longer hold
Two hearts that was together are now alone.
What could have been the greatest journey of our lives remains a path overgrown
