CHAPTER FORTY NINE
*BELLA'S P.O.V*
I woke up later that day, feeling happy and completely well rested. I opened my eyes with my head still laid down on my pillow, and smiled. The sun was shining through my window, instantly brightening up my room. I was feeling the happiest I've ever felt, and it felt like the universe was complying to my mood! My mood only increased to a level far beyond the clouds when I got a text from Luke which read: Good Morning my angel! :) How'd you sleep? Seeing that its your last week of being pregnant, I have something very special planned for the three of us today! :) .... Buht first there's a few people who want to see you! So I'll tell you exactly what time you should be expecting me ... Get ready for the time of your fucking life! See you later! I LOOOOOVVEE YOU!! -and he ended the text with lots of kissing emojis-. I turned my head over and smiled and screamed and giggled into my pillow. I stayed like that, thinking about the text over and over, and my mind couldn't help but wonder; what did he have planned for us!? 'Maybe he's going to propose!?' I thought, and immediately knew that I was stupid to think that he would, 'Don't be stupid! You guys have been dating for a month come on! Its way too soon! But then again, its never too soon for love and love knows no age... Fucking hell I'm being cheesy as fuck, can't help the way I feel though!' Okay, so proposal is out of the question completely! So what could it be? Maybe he- *knock on the door* I heard the knock before hearing the door open, followed by the sound of Mr. Freeman. "Bella? Are you awake?" He asked, and he sounded almost scared to wake me. "Good morning!" I said, smiling at him and sitting up. "Good morning" he smiled looking more at my stomach than at me, "How'd you sleep?" He asked, with his upper body in the room, while the other half was outside the door. I looked at him with my mouth slightly open as I glanced around the room, "I slept fine!" I lied. "That's good!" He now smiled at me, "The Mrs. wanted me to let you know that breakfast was on the table"he said with a smile. I returned the smile and nodded, and then he left. I sat up on the bed, getting ready to stand up when, "ow!" I whispered and immediately threw my hand on my stomach, "that was a strange..." I said as I felt a sharp sting in my stomach that stopped as soon as it had started. I shook it off and assumed that it was nothing to worry about.
*
I walked into the dining room, and was struck by a pain so sharp, I had to hold onto the wall for balance. I looked up to make sure that the Freeman's had not seen that, and it seemed like they didn't, so I walked further into the dining room, feigning a smile. "Good Morning Bella, how did- What's wrong!?" Sheila asked alarmed. As she was speaking to me, I had another sting of pain, worst than the last, and it must have shown on my face. "Nothing," I spoke in short breaths, "I'm just- I don't know what's happening- I'm getting stings of pain- I'm sure- I'm sure it will pass..." I said, my breathing now heavier as I sat down on the chair and was surrounded by the Freeman's. "How often do these happen!?" Sheila asked urgently, the nurse in her coming out. The pain was now worse than ever; so much more worse in fact, that I could barely speak. "Every- few- few- minutes" no sooner had I said it, was it that I heard Sheila saying, "she's having contractions! We need to get her to the hospital NOW!!" she spoke in a stern yet calm voice. And everything that happened next, happened so fast and in such a swift motion, that I didn't even know how we got to the hospital so fast!

As soon as my foot had touched the ground inside the hospital, I was in a wheelchair and was being pushed into a room by the same male nurse that had helped me when I was here last time. Was this it? Was this actually happening !? Was I going to have this baby!? I couldn't be... The contractions seemed to have died down.
The male nurse helped me into my bed, then left; leaving me alone in the room with a very worried Mr. and Mrs. Freeman. As soon as the door had closed, they were right by my bed -Sheila was moving her hands all over my face and stomach, asking if I was okay- "seriously guys! I'm fine! The contractions have stopped" I said, and a little too soon at that! At that moment, I was hit by a contraction so hard, it felt as though I was being hit by a fireball from inside. I closed my eyes and breathed out hard; this was the only way I could ensure that I didn't scream my lungs out. "Doesn't look to me like they're over!" Mr. Freeman said, standing with his hands in his pockets. I couldn't even answer back with one of my signature retorts, because soon after, I was struck with another contraction. This was possibly the worst pain I've ever been in; no, scratch that, this WAS DEFINITELY the worst pain I've ever been in! Usually I can easily describe and compare any type of pain, but not this one! It was 10 000 times worse than period pains, and I'm not even exaggerating!
