CHAPTER TWENTY FIVE

I rushed over to the Janoskian house, and arrived there within half an hour. I did this sort of run, and rushed -as fast as a pregnant lady could- into the house. No sooner had I walked in, was it that I heard a glass being thrown against the wall, and breaking into tiny pieces. "What the hell is happening in there?" I asked as I saw Daniel stepping out of the living room, looking as distressed as ever! "You don't want to go on there! She's been like this all morning, and the rest of those fuckers aren't making it any better!" he said in sort of a whisper. Now I was getting worried! I walked into the living room with great caution... Upon entering, I noticed Darcy standing in the centre of the room -she was surrounded by the rest of the Janos, and for some reason, Beau was in a fit of laughter- she had on her pink, fuzzy winter pyjamas, with her hair tied in a messy bun, she had her purple slippers on and her teddy bear was dangling from her fingers, I immediately knew what was going on! I walked further into the living room, and stood next to Luke -who was ignoring me for some reason- "Oh come on! Its just a little blood!" Luke said, laughing, and now my suspicions were confirmed! "You are fucking disgusting! Why don't you try having blood come out of your vagina every month, and then we'll see if its still 'just a little blood'!" shouted Darcy, looking at Luke with disgust. "Oh! And you say I'M the disgusting one!?? Said Luke, placing his hand on his chest, pretending to be offended. "You think he's disgusting? I happen to think he's BLOODY amazing!" said Jai, also laughing as he placed emphasis on the word 'Bloody' I just shook my head and covered my eyes with my hand. "And you are fucking obnoxious!!" she said, now looking at Jai, threatening to kick him. I looked over at Daniel who was standing in the doorway, and he looked beside himself! He had no idea what to do! "Guys! Guys! Come on now!" said James, placing his arm over Darcy's shoulders, and being the point of reason, "Darcy is obviously going through a tough time... And she just needs to learn to go with the FLOW!" he said, laughing as well! Darcy immediately threw his arm off her shoulder, and pushed him away from her. I looked over at Daniel, who had now also silently joined in on the laughter! I gave him a look that said, 'do something, or else you,won't have a girlfriend after this!' he looked at me, and shrugged his shoulders. "Do you want me to come over there and slap you!?" I mouthed. "Okay! Okay!" he mouthed back, raising his arms in defeat, and walked over to Darcy. "Guys! Enough with the menstrual jokes! They aren't funny..." he went silent, as did everyone in the room, "PERIOD!" and all the Janoskians burst out into laughter simultaneously. I didn't laugh for any of these jokes though, because they always told these jokes whenever I got my period, so I didn't find them funny anymore. "All right! Stop it now!" I said, stepping in, and separating Skip from Darcy. The room fell silent as all eyes were on me, "ALL OF YOU OUT!" I shouted, pointing towards the door. "Wait, you're chasing US, out of OUR home?" Beau asked, trying to recover from all the laughing. "Yeah! I am!" I said seriously. They looked at me, buht all of them were still giggling, "Yeah! Lets go! Buht we aren't leaving because you said so..." Jai said looking at me as he grabbed a bag that was laying on top of a pile,of other bags, that were lying on the floor, "We're going because we have a new video to make!" her pointed at me, squinting his eyes playfully. I rolled my eyes at him and shook my head. "Buht we don't-" Beau began, buht Jai interrupted him, "Shhhh!! We have a video! I'll show you, come on!" he said as the guys piled out of the living room, and as Beau walked past him, he hit him behind his head.

"Thank you!" Darcy said as she sat down on the couch, snuggling up with her teddy bear. "So... How's it going with you and the baby?" she asked, buht changed her question as she looked around the room, as if she was hoping to find something, "Where's Nicholas?" she asked as I sat down next to her. At the mention of his name, my heart dropped into my ass and I felt a shiver going down my spine. "He's around!" I said, not wanting to divulge what had actually happened. "So, how. Was your first night with Daniel?" I asked, wanting to change the subject. At the mention of his name, she blushed and smiled from ear to ear. "Well, it was amazing! Buht we didn't do what you think we did! We just spent the night in his room, cuddling up and watching movies, and speaking about the future! Like, we didn't want to rush into having sex... We decided that it was going to happen when it happens. Buht Bella, spending time with him like that, oh my gosh! He's the most amazing guy I have ever been with!" she admitted, while covering her blushing face with her teddy bear. I looked at her, and how happy she was... And I couldn't help buht smile! "Buht that's enough about me... How is it with you and the baby" she asked, speaking to my stomach now. My smile only broadened as I said, "We're doing great! He's started kicking already! So he does that quite often!" I said excitedly, placing my hand on my stomach. "Well that's great!" she said, still speaking to my stomach, "The Freemans must be so excited!" she said, and my smile disappeared from my face. "What do you mean?" I asked her. She got up, and looked at me, "Well, I mean, they must be excited to know that their baby is kicking already! You did tell them... Right?" she asked, more serious this time. I looked away, and tried move myself further away from Darcy... The truth is, I haven't even visited the Freemans yet! They're just a painful reminder that I will never be able to get to know this baby... Or even see him/her grow up... "Isabella, don't move away from me... You did tell them right!?" she asked again, raising her voice a bit. "No Darcy! I didn't! I will tell them! I just want to get to know my baby first..." I said softly as I looked at my stomach. "Oh God! I was afraid this might happen!" said Darcy, moving away from me and covering her eyes with her hand. "You were afraid what would happen Darcy?" I asked her, now looking up. "That you might get attached to the baby! And you have Bella!" "No I haven't! I've just been speaking to him and enjoying my pregnancy while I still have the chance!" I argued. "Oh God Bella!! You're in denial! Babe, you haven't even been to visit the people you're actually doing this for!" she said raising her voice more, throwing her arms in the air. "I am not in denial! Is it bad for a mother to want to get to know her baby before he-" and I stopped in the middle of my sentence, because I then realized that Darcy was right! I got so caught up in this baby, that I forgot the actual reason why I did this in the first place... "Oh my God Darcy! I am too attached! I can't help buht love this baby! He's growing inside of me... He is literally a part of me, and I guess I just don't want to accept the fact that in a few months... All this will be over! I have grown so used to having this little being inside of me... And the reason why I don't want to see the Freemans, is because they're a painful reminder that this isn't going to last forever... I won't be a part of my baby's life any longer!" I said it! I had actually admitted it out loud... "Babe, I get what you're saying... Buht its not just your baby! As painful as this is going to be for you to hear... Its their baby too! And they have the right to get to know him or her before he/she is born" Darcy spoke softly. Her words cut like knives, buht I couldn't deny the fact that she was right... I was depriving this family of something that would make their lives complete... Buht is it worth losing a piece of myself in the process??
