Alex's POV:
Abby was gone and I wanted to chase after her. Try and find her. "Alex you said that Abby shouldn't go alone. So you shouldn't either," Trott pointed out.
"But I have to Trott. I said that because I thought she wouldn't leave or be able to." Trott sighed. "There could be hundreds of demons after her, going after her would kill you too."
"Trott I'm the same as her what makes me different, do you not think I'm strong enough!"
"No."
"Trott, Abby and I are stronger together. I don't want anyone to follow me and get more hurt."
"You don't even know where she is. How are you going to chase after her."
"Find Ross," I said and were about to leave. Trott grabbed my arm. "Alex, Ross could be anywhere. How are we going to find him and who says he can find Abby after that."
"The crystal?"
"It's easy to cover it and not allow them to see anything, why do you think we always wear it over our shirts instead of under like some people may. So if anything does happen to our partner we at least have an idea of where they are and if so teleport there." I clenched my teeth. Trott was right he knew that even if I looked for Ross it was a small chance I could even find Abby afterwards. "Smith you know I'm right so don't beat yourself up over it."
"I just want to find her. She is my little sister Trott."
"I know that but she left to save Ross. If Katie was in his position I would leave even if you said not to, that's why when Abby said she wanted to check out a place I let her." I went to say something then stopped I had nothing to say. I didn't have a strong enough relationship with Autumn to feel that kinda stuff, in fact I didn't really feel that way when you are supposed to. "Trott how did you feel when you first saw Katie," it seemed like a strange question to ask but I was curious. "Umm. Strange question, but it was like love at first sight. I can't really explain how I felt it was just like wow."
"Well I guess that explains it."
"Why do you ask?"
"Just when I saw Autumn it was just like if I saw a really pretty girl and wanted to get to know her better."
"So it's not a strong connection is what you are saying."
"I have a feeling Abby may have been right about not trusting her."
"Maybe just give her a chance again, I have heard of things where the connection isn't strong to start off with but then gets better. Look how long Abby and Ross took together."
"Yeah but the spark always seemed to be there."
"Look I didn't trust Autumn anymore than Abby does but I'm just saying give her a chance and see how it goes. It's not up to me and it's not up to Abby how you live your life or choose to love." I sighed. "Alright. Maybe it will take my mind off Abby for a while and let her sort herself out."
"There you go your getting some where."

I called Autumn and asked if we could go out tonight. I wanted to see if she felt 'love'. It may seem like a strange thing to look for but I was starting to think Abby was right. "Hey Autumn," I said giving her a hug.
"Hey Alex, so how are you."
"Good I guess. You."
"Wonderful, I got a promotion."
"Oh really that's cool, I don't think you told me what job you do."
"It's really hard to explain and it's a bit of a strange job to be honest."
"Ok."
"So how is your sister."
"Good actually, just went on a little trip with her boyfriend," I purposely lied to see how she would react. "Oh that's nice where to."
"Just to the country side his parents had a little cottage out there."
"That's nice I hope they have fun." I made a weak smile.
"Oh sorry forgot she was your little sister. I don't mean it like that," she laughed awkwardly. I was starting to think maybe she was normal. "So shall we," she held out her hand and I took it. "Yeah sure." Instead of walking to the car she pulled me in for a kiss. She was so beautiful in every way. Autumn wasn't evil Abby was wrong. Autumn was perfect meant for me. She dragged me inside and I had the time of my life.
