Alex's POV:
Abby was changing Ross's bandages whilst Hannah and Lewis got dinner ready. I was just watching them, not in a creepy way. I just didn't like that Ross was getting closer to Abby, I was just being a big brother. But I kept my distance and just let it play out, it was none of my business and if I wanted to keep my relationship with Abby, barging in and punching Ross in the face wasn't one of the ways. I could hear Abby laughing and it just made me angrier and I didn't know why. "You know your actually doing much better than everyone thought you would," Trott said sitting down beside me handing me a beer. I took it. "Yeah I'm doing better than what I thought, I guess just seeing her happy is enough to not ruin it."
"Don't wreck it now, when they aren't even together."
"Just I really want to keep him away, she is two years younger."
"So, does that really matter."
"I guess not. I think the fact that I know Ross is also helping a little bit."
"We'll just be glad it is Ross and not someone else, who Azazel may be controlling already."
"Yeah." Abby and Ross came over and Ross grabbed a beer for him and Abby. "Whoa, no," I said sitting on the edge of the seat. "What? Alex I'm 24 and been absolutely wasted before, I think I can handle a few beers," Abby said popping the cap off like it was nothing. She smirked and raised and eyebrow at me. "Sorry just being overprotective I guess."
"Nar it all good, being a big brother never hurt anyone."Most of us got drunk that night, Kim went to bed early, Hannah was making sure no one went outside or down into the weapons and Katie was just slightly tipsy but still having fun. We were playing truth or dare, lovely idea when your all drunk. "Ok, ok. Abby truth or dare," Trott asked.
"Truth."
"Aww come on playing it safe. Alright, would you kiss me."
"Hhhmm nar to ugly for me, sorry Katie."
"Bitch I'm fabulous," Trott was such a dork. "Hey, watch it buddy," Ross said putting an arm around Abby. Abby loved hanging around Trott they were becoming best friends. "Alriiiiight. Alex. Truth or Dare."
"Hhhhhm dare, I'm feeling adventurous," I said.
"Fight me." Abby stood up on the table. "No, your not as strong as me. It will be to easy."
"Wanna bet," Abby turned her arms into fire. It would have taken a while to learn that but like me she learnt it really quickly. "Ok guys no fighting here near valuables, take it into the arena," Hannah said and we all took it down into the arena. We were circling each other. "Come on Abby it's not going to be a fair fight."
"Ok no elemental powers except earth then and all warrior and wizard powers aloud, but no sharp weapons. Fists only," Abby said.
"Alright." I took the first swing, she teleported out the way and used vines to trap me to the ground but I just teleported out. "CHEAT, but not enough." Abby teleported behind me and put me in a head lock. My size and strength was a bit useless now, we couldn't teleport if we were in contact with another human other wise it just teleports them as well. Abby slowly brought me to the ground. "TEN, NINE, EIGHT, SEVEN!" Duncan started calling. I tried to get up but Abby managed to trap my legs. "SIX, FIVE, FOURTHREETTWO. . . . . ONE! Abby wins." Abby got up and celebrated and I took the opportunity while her back was turned to try and get her to the ground. "Never take your eyes off your opponent," I said and she just turned ducked and knocked me to the ground again. "Never take your eyes off your opponent," she said mocking me. I just lay in the ground and groaned I did just face plant and my little sister did just beat me, maybe it was the alcohol.Abby's POV:
I woke up on the couch with Ross lying beside me, we were leaning against each other sleeping upright. I carefully got up making sure I let him down slowly and went and got some aspirin. "First one up," Kim and Hannah were having a nice drink in the kitchen. Hannah handed Kim 5 pounds. "Wait you betted on who would wake up first," I said getting the aspirin and pouring myself a coffee. "By the time everyone was going to sleep you were already looking quite groggy like you were already having a hangover almost so I kinda assumed you would go to sleep with a headache and either wake up from it or just sleep like a baby and wake up early," Kim said.
"Well I usually do wake up early." I rubbed my head and drank my coffee.
"Also you and Ross are so cute. Alex isn't going to be happy when he sees that you two slept together."
"Clarification on the same couch, all clothes still on. I'm sure he will be to head achy to even care. Anyways where is he."
"Down in the arena he just kinda past out after you beat his ass," Hannah said laughing a bit.
"Wait I beat Alex, isn't he stronger than me or something."
"Well alcohol effects our powers, makes it harder to detect but with the price of it taking away a few powers. It seemed to enhance you though."
"Maybe it's because I haven't learnt them let?"
"Maybe." I walked down to the arena to see Alex. He was lying about a 5 meters from the door I walked over and carefully picked him up. "Jesus Christ you need to lay off the Jolly Ranchers," I said as I picked him up. I dragged Alex upstairs and into his bed so he wakes up in a better place than the ground then having to walk up stairs. I walked out and just about everyone was either awake and just lying there or up and drinking coffee.
