Abby's POV:
I was walking up the stairs from the arena when I bumped straight into Ross and started to fall backwards. My first thought was to grab onto something and that something was Ross and we both tumbled down. I teleported us before we hit anymore stairs, terrible for me as I teleported into my room as that's the first thing I thought of to teleport to and we landed on the the bed hugging each other, I was on the bottom. Even better luck Chris walked past right at that moment. "Umm, I hope I'm not interrupting anything," Chris said with a laugh. Ross quickly hopped off of me. "Oh um no we just," I could tell Ross was being to awkward.
"We fell down the stairs and I teleported but just my luck it was to here," I said quickly trying to explain. "Right."
"Anyway what were you in here for."
"Just was walking past and saw you two drop on the bed," he just kinda shrugged and walked off. "Well this is awkward," Ross said scratching the back of his neck.
"Defiantly, you wanna umm."
"Yeah," Ross walked out and obviously ran into someone. Even better luck it was Alex, so he just saw Ross walk out of my room, great. "What's going on?" Alex asked suspiciously.
"We fell down the stairs," is all Ross said and he kept walking, I guess he didn't want to be in front of Alex when he just walked out of my room. "I teleported us before we hit anymore stairs and it just happened to be my room," I said.
"Ok then I believe you." I sighed and went back into my room to just lie down.

Ross's POV:
I was just back at home collecting a few things because we would be staying at the tree until Azazel was dead, which I had a feeling would be a while. Abby was helping me gather stuff so it was just one trip. "Sorry about this morning," she said.
"No it was partially my fault as well."
"How, I was the one that ran into you and pulled you down the stairs."
"For being so awkward and making Alex think it was something else because I walked out so fast."
"No that's all alright, he believes me."
"Thank god." It was almost everything but we went back as we could carry no more. It was 2 boxes plus one thing I wanted to show Abby. She went back with me because teleporting was still very energy consuming and I always felt sick after trying to teleport myself. "So what's this one thing," Abby asked and I walked outside.
"It wasn't really anything I just wanted to look at the stars." Abby starred at the stars.
"Beautiful," is all she said. We just starred at them for a while. "Come with me I know a place we can stare at them and still be safe." I teleported back into the tree but opened a door and climbed up a ladder that went half way up the tree the rest of the way was stairs. "Where are we going exactly," Abby asked as we climbed the stairs.
"You shall see." We walked to on top of the tree where a little deck was set out but an invisible barrier was set up so no one on the outside could see us. Abby was just starstruck, she didn't say anything. "It's just nice to come up here sometimes and forget everything that is happening," I said sitting down on the chairs we had set up.
"Thank you," Abby said, "it's wonderful."
"Well when I heard you liked looking at the stars I thought you might like this."
"I love it." Abby sat down on the chair beside me and just starred at the stars. I did the same. I soon felt Abby rest her head on my shoulder. I put an arm around her. "No one has ever done something this nice for me before," she said.
"Not even Jake?" I asked curious.
"No, he was all about the fancy restaurants. I never really enjoyed them but this; this is what I enjoy doing."
"Just starring at the stars."
"Yeah." We could see the city behind us but if we faced to further in the forest it was just beauty all the way. "Sometimes I like to think they are still here," Abby said.
"Who?"
"All our fallen family, I just like to think they are still here watching over us. Because as Misha said he has problems of his own and he can't help everyone so I like to think that our fallen family is helping him out by watching over us and helping us."
"Sometimes I think the same thing." Abby cuddled up to me and we just looked at the stars for ages, forgetting everything that happened, not worrying about everything that will come. There was a chance that we would win but not everyone would survive and that scared all of us. To lose our best friends, our soul partners, what family we had left, what life we had left. We had already lost Trott and were lucky to get him back, the same can't be said for the end battle. It was going to have casualties and those wouldn't be able to be saved. We all knew that it was just were we going to cope or was it all just going to fall apart.
