Ross's POV:
Abby was tagging along with us to go to yogtowers. We had to be extra careful as Smith and her were both together which made it slightly more risky. "So what things did you study at college," I asked Abby.
"Film and TV."
"Cool, so did Smith, Trott and I."
"Cool." We were in separate cars to hopefully avoid being jumped in the middle of the street. Abby was riding with me, much to Smiths protests, and Smith was riding with Trott. "What were you hoping to do in future?"
"Was still working on that really but now I guess that all changes."
"Where were you working currently."
"Music production studio, I made the music videos and stuff. I sometimes used the studio when it was empty to record myself."
"Cool. Well you can sort of still keep that job if you want, you just have to be extra careful because Azazel knows that it's there."
"Nar I never really liked it, I had a boss who would yell at me for taking so long yet didn't know how to edit videos anyway. Probably about the only thing I liked was filming because I got to see all sorts of cool scenery and sometimes I actually got to play boss for lighting and stuff."
"You could always work for us."
"Really!" Abby sounded really happy.
"Yeah I'm sure Lewis wouldn't mind."
"Thank you so much. Remind me to give you a hug when the car stops." I laughed, "Ok then."Abby's POV:
We got to yogtowers and I jumped out of the car and gave Ross a big hug. To my luck Alex and Chris turned up at that exact time and saw me hugging Ross, and him hugging me back. "What the fuck Ross!" Alex said a little bit angry.
"Alex cool it, I hugged him," I said putting a hand on his chest to stop him walking any closer. "Why."
"Because he asked if I would like to work here instead of my shitty job that I had before."
"Oh," was all he said and backed off.
"So have you thought about it," Chris asked.
"Yes."
"So."
"Yes!"
"Ok, get this girl an office." We all laughed and walked inside. I liked Trott, in a friend way, he was so cheery.I set up in the Hat room for now, with my laptop and stuff. I already had a channel but I only posted vlogs and the occasional video of me singing or playing guitar, or both. Around lunch it ended up just Alex and I. "So about that this morning," he said starting off a conversation.
"Yeah, what."
"Sorry for kinda bursting out like that, I was being an over protective big brother."
"Nar it's alright. You were just being a big brother, nothing that's not common. Probably more common for you to do that because Ross is your best friend."
"Yeah. I'm just saying sorry."
"Wanna go get some lunch," I asked him standing up.
"Nar I usually just eat lunch in here."
"Suit yourself, loner."
"What ever." I laughed and left the room heading down to the common room. I heard various laughter so assumed it was the common room and opened the door. "Abby!" I heard Chris shout as I opened the door. "Go sit beside your lover." I rolled my eyes and sat on the couch beside Ross. Not because Chris said, because there wasn't any other spaces. "You know Abby I saw that hug this morning you defiantly like Ross," Lewis said. Then I realised they had all had a few drinks, except Ross, Hannah and Kim. "Lewis your drunk."
"Am I just," he held up the bottle in his hand, "so it seems I am. So what I wasn't when I saw you."
"And what if I don't like Ross and never do."
"Harsh, I'm right here you know." I whispered in his ear so I didn't get harassed by anyone later or Alex didn't some how find out. "Im joking cutie." He kinda blushed when I said that. "Then your crystals start turning white and both of you lose your powers. And you probably die haven't ever had a case like that to find out really," Chris said.
"So basically if my former boyfriend didn't die then I would have never discovered my powers but Ross would have lost his."
"Essentially yes, unless he was able to convince you."
"Sorry, but I don't think I would have I loved Jake enough to want to marry him and start a life."
"Obviously not," Ross said.
"What do you mean?"
"The soul shards only last a year if you have only seen the person or heard their name, and if the other half was not able to convince in that time the crystals die. But there is an exception, if the person has never met each other so the sides don't know when it actually started glowing or who it is glowing to. If they don't like their current partner enough or know it's not going to last the crystal glows faintly until the pair find each other then it starts to glow brighter," Lewis said. "I my crystal started glowing maybe two years ago when Alex showed me a picture of you but I didn't realise that my crystal started glowing till days later and I never figured out when it did till I met you and remembered that," Ross said. "My crystal started glowing about 2 years ago when I first started watching hatfilms, and I didn't notice till a few days later."
"Aww that's just to cute, their crystals started glowing almost at the same time," Chris said standing up and walking out the door, he was so goofy. After I finished my lunch I notice everyone but Ross had left. "You stayed?"
"Didn't want you to be a loner."
"Thanks," I smiled awkwardly at him then quickly looked away, I could tell I was blushing. Ross laughed a little bit. "Come on let's go back before drunk Trott decides to say we are making out." I laughed and Ross stood up offering me a hand, I took it. I quickly let go and wiped my hand on my pants to make sure they weren't sweaty. Maybe I like Ross more than I thought I did. I looked at him and smiled to myself, I defiantly do.
