Abby's POV:
We walked out behind the tree and through the forest. Ross was holding my hand. We pretty much stayed in our groups whilst walking through the forest as it was quite a walk and we had no idea if they were already there waiting for us or not. "Abby I don't want to lose you again please be safe," Ross said squeezing my hand. I couldn't promise anything. "I can't make a promise I can't keep," I sighed in sadness.
"If you can't promise me to not die, just promise me it's not because of something stupid." I laughed a little bit. "Alright, but like what. You kinda can't die stupidly in battle, besides if you tripped and fell over."
"I mean saving me."
"But that's not stupid. I love you and would do anything for you, even if it means putting my life on the line. And don't say I know, because I know for a fact you would do the same thing for me." He sighed heavily and put his arm around me.
"I love you Abby."
"I love you too Ross." He gave me a light kiss on the cheek and went back to holding my hand.

We reached the field and everyone was pretty much in the groups but still all in one big group. At first I thought there was nothing, or an ambush but soon hundreds of creatures; Orc like creatures appeared out of the shadows. I put my helmet on my head and we stepped out onto the field, ready to fight and die. "Ready to die Oderrus!" Azazel yelled from the other side followed by a laugh. "We will fight, we will die, just as long as your ugly ass is to dead to show its face again!" Alex yelled back at him and I smiled behind my helmet. Ross looked at me and I looked at him, he squeezed my hand and let go. "Ready your weapons Oderrus!" I yelled. I heard the clinks of swords and the whoosh of elements or magic firing up. I looked to Ross's sword and had and idea. I touched the sword and it turned into a flaming sword. It only worked because he could control fire. I saw Alex do it to his own so did I. "Orcs ready!" Azazel yelled. And as if on que Azazel and I yelled. "Charge!" At the same time.

Ross's POV:
We broke off into our groups and were quickly surrounded, but we fought our way through. Stabbing and chopping the heads off the unarmored orcs. Abby was quick to think and used fire to burn some of the orcs around us but there were still more coming. It seemed like thousands. Various yells and cries echoed out, but they were just the others yelling, not in pain. Our group and Duncan, Kim and Katie kind of merged together. But then Abby, Alex and I got pushed away from them. I tried to stay close to Abby, I didn't want to lose her again and for good this time. Just when it seemed like it was about half way through I saw more approaching out of the woods, bigger and nastier as well. "There are more coming!" I yelled. I heard a scream, it was in pain this time. "KATIE!" Trott yelled. Standing over her and fighting, I didn't see Duncan or Kim around him. I didn't realise that Alex and Abby had separated from me either. I was singled out, just what we didn't want to happen. "Hello Ross, looks like you have been separated," Azazel walked from between the orcs and approached where I was. I was in no way strong enough to take him on. "Abby! Help!" I yelled out to her. "Abby is a little bit preoccupied right now," Azazel said with an evil smile on his face.

Alex's POV:
Abby and I were separated from Ross but we couldn't get back no matter how much magic we used. The orcs seemed to only get bigger and harder to kill. "Abby! Help!" I heard Ross yell and through the masses I saw Azazel in front of Ross. "Shit, shit shit!" Abby yelled fighting harder so I joined her using my full abilities and killing off the orcs quite quickly. Ross cried out and it only made Abby fight harder. I kept up with her almost feeling her anger and using it to fuel my power. Abby must have got a glimpse of what state Ross was in because she grabbed my arm. Next thing I knew I was using every power I knew and Abby and I turned into balls of light vaporising all Orcs in about 2 meters of us clearing out almost all of them. The rest ran away. I still felt all powerful, Abby let go of my arm and walked straight up to Azazel. This must have been Azazel's plan because I was hit in the back of the leg and it was broken forcing me to the ground. Trott collapsed in exhaustion and the rest were still trying to fight off the few that ran back and around cutting them off from us. I turned and killed the orc who broke my leg and tried to crawl to Abby. Azazel had thrown her and was going back to finish off Ross. I saw Abby get up and run towards him holding out her flaming sword. He quickly turned and held out his. She stabbed him but I didn't know where his sword went. I kept trying to crawl over. Azazel dropped to the ground and Abby stayed standing. "ABBY. NOOOOOOO!" I heard Ross yell and get up as fast as he could running to her as she dropped. I felt a new strength like my leg was healed and I got up and ran to her. Azazel had stabbed her in the side but she had so little energy and so little blood from the rest of the fight she was dying quickly. "Abby," Ross sobbed softly whilst cradling her in his arms. I saw the blood start to stain his shirt. Abby was still alive but barley. "Ross, I-I love you," was all Abby said before she lay her head to his chest and closed her eyes. I screamed and pounded my fists into the ground while Ross rocked back and forth crying. Abby said she saw her own death, but I didn't think it was true. I refused to believe it was true. Abby was gone, she was taken away from me; from Ross by Azazel. He was dead, she killed him, but at the expense of her own life. Why did she have to do that? "WHY?!" I screamed into the sky before falling to my side and crying. I was just about done with the world. I didn't want to live anymore, I lost everything.

I had planned to kill Abby from about mid way through writing the book. I don't know why I decided that, I just did and I'm sorry.
