Chapter 6

Alex's POV:
Ross was doing better than expected. Well besides being more groggy and grumpy than usual. Abby was already down in the arena with Lewis and he was teaching her a few basic things like telekinesis and telepathy. Telepathy was something all Oderrus use to communicate with each other without being heard, only the Wizards could use it to manipulate people sometimes. "How's Abby this morning after what happened," Ross asked. "She is pretty alright, a bit shaken up but alright."
"Where is she now."
"Down in the arena with Lewis learning telekinesis and telepathy."
"Ok, because." Ross paused.
"Because what?" Next a bubble of water was dropped on my head and I was soaking wet. "Glad you know how to use water." I created water out of nothing. "To bad I'm better at it." I threw the water at her and she teleported to behind me. "I thought you said you were only going to teach her two things," I said to Lewis.
"She caught on quickly just like you did so I thought I would teach her teleportation as well."

Abby's POV:
I turned and saw Ross behind me drinking a coffee and turning his hand about with a vine wrapped around it. I looked back at Alex and vines were slowly wrapping around his foot. Ross then closed his hand into a fist and Alex fell over right in front of me. Chris spat out his coffee as he laughed and I fell on the ground in fits of laughter. "Oh great you know earth as well," he said unimpressed.
"That wasn't me," I said in between laughs.
"Ross! I will so get you back for that."
"Hey don't pick on the handy capped." Alex grumbled and left to into his room.

I was taking off Ross's bandages so I could clean his wounds and out fresh bandages on. I didn't notice but as I worked he just kept starring at me. "You know it's rude to stare," I said with a slight laugh. "Your so gentle."
"Ok.."
"Sorry. I just meant like your trying your best to not hurt me and saying sorry each time I wince or say ouch."
"I just don't want to hurt you again."
"Hey it wasn't your fault that Azazel tried to kill me."
"You were doing just fine then suddenly I turn up and you almost die."
"He just wants to get into your head, don't let him."
"It's a bit hard when he shows up in your dream and tells you he just almost killed your soul partner that you never actually got to know at all." Ross went really silent as I put on the last bandage. We didn't speak I just got up and left.

I was just calmly sitting in my room not really doing much except playing a few games on my laptop. Alex was in my door way just looking at me. "You know it's rude to stare," I said. He came over and sat beside me on the bed. "I know it's just I never really got to see you happy, I probably never will with what's going to happen along this road."
"What do you mean never will."
"Azazel wants to either turn us evil or kill us but he has tried to manipulate you already which didn't work so he will turn to just kill."
"Azazel almost killed Ross if I knew him any better or as a boyfriend I would have sure as hell said sure I will join you just don't hurt my family and friends."
"And that was Azazel's mistake."
"Oh great so he is going to kill you now because you are my brother, that just gives me all the more confidence."
"Look Abby I know all this is too much in just a few days but we are helping you really. We are trying to protect you." I looked down. "I know you are, it's just tiring to learn all these things and I'm to scared to go to sleep so that doesn't help."
"Look if he shows up next he is more likely to go to you instead of anyone in here because you don't know them all that well, even me."
"Oh great so I'm going to die, again great confidence booster."
"Look Abby stop being so snappy at me I don't know what happened, or what he said, or if he even planted something on you. But you need to snap out of it and stop being angry." I looked down again then at my arm. "He did cut me." I lifted my sleeve and it had a bandage around it. "Not enough he would have needed to say something to you, like a spell."
"Well he didn't, all he did is kill my best friend who our last chat she thought I was going insane. So yeah I'm going to be a little annoyed."
"Sorry." I sighed. "And I'm sorry for being so snappy." I gave Alex a hug. "Dinner will be ready in a few minutes." He was just about to walk out the door when he turned on his heals, "oh and some of us have to go into yogtowers tomorrow, especially the guys and I you can come along if you want."
"Yeah sure."
