The Great Escape.

Xander POV

I am not ashamed to say that I was so ready for Tristan to take me right then, but thankfully he didn't. Because it would have made everything complicated.

I realized that I can't keep pushing away the feelings that I have for him. I can lie to myself all day and say
I don't like him, he's no good, he's a player, and he could be lying to you. But I would be kidding myself by saying those weren't the things that kept me interested.

I lay in my bed just remembering the events that occurred last night. I sigh happily and smirk at both of our eagerness. It made me feel good, to know that I wasn't going crazy for someone who wasn't going crazy for me.

Beep beep. My phone goes off, I grab it from my nightstand, and check to see who it was.
Sean.

I smile and unlock my phone quickly excited to know what the message read.

Sean: Hey gorgeous! I was wondering if you'd like to hang out today?? :)
I giggle and reply

Xander: I would love that, what time should I be ready? Send

Sean : 1:30 pm we have a short day but it will be filled with lots of fun! BE READY!

Sean and I haven't been hanging out a lot lately, since finding out about his love for Harper. It's just been a lot for both of us, I'm happy I'll get this time with him.

I turn to see that it was 11:37 am, yeah I'm going to get in the shower now, and I decide what to wear. I choose to wear (In M/M) Light make up, because with Sean planning the day who knows what we'll be doing.

When I look at the clock again its 12:45 and I'm done. "Guess I'll just go eat some food then" I say to myself.

I walk down the stairs and make a sandwich and decide to watch some TV while I wait. It almost feels alien for me to be so content with being alone these days. I enjoy the company I have had, but it's nothing like being about to be alone for an even a minute. I sigh.

The front door opens and in walks Sean.
"Hey, you ready to go?"
"As I'll ever be."

We get into the car and Sean refuses to tell me what he's got planned for today.
"Will you just f*cking tell me! You know I hate surprises" he shakes his head and chuckles.

"You know I'm not one to give under pressure, Xan." I choose to give up and just enjoy the ride. We end up at the mall, I turn to him. 

"The mall?" He nods and parks the car. We get inside and Sean turns to me and says.
"I haven't taken you out and had brother sister bonding time. So I wanted to just take you somewhere that was affordable and had food." I laugh and savor the time we shared.

When our day had finished, we had gone to the lake to feed the ducks which might I say was not as cute as you would think. The birds attacked us and we ended up being stuck in the car the entire time. Scary but fun.

We got home and I realized I hadn't checked my phone in hours. I had 4 messages and 5 missed calls.
From... Tristan?

Tristan: I'm outside beautiful

6:45 pm

Tristan: Xander this isn't funny who are you with? Are you with another guy?!
