Nahko's POV

I wake up in a Decepticon cell. "Not again," I grumble. Just then, Megatron appears. "Still wanting answers?" I ask him.

"Yes, and Shockwave 8s getting them from Ratchet. Along with the formula for synthetic energon," he states.

"Ratchet would never tell you anything," I sneer.

"Who says he has a choice?" Megatron asks me, smirking.

"The patch," I mutter.

"Clever girl," he praises.

"If you have Ratchet, why kidnap me again?" I ask him.

"Why bait for the female predacon, of course. And I have big plans for you Nahko Prime when Cybertron is restored, " he states.

"I won't be a pawn in your game," I sneer.

"You don't have a choice, my dear," he states. "I must go check on Shockwave's progress. Enjoy your stay," he tells me before leaving. I look around my cell, I have to get out of here.

'Nahko!' I hear Dawn call in my head.

'Dawn,' I say, relieved.

'Hang in there, I am coming to save you,' she states.

'It is not just me. The cons have Ratchet also. Besides, you can't take them on alone, get the others, and plan with them,' I tell her.

'You underestimate me, Nahko,' she states.

'It is a trap, Dawn. They want you, please be smart and call for backup before attacking,' I tell her. She does not reply. Annoying stubborn female predacon. I pray she calls for backup.

(Autobot base) Third Persons POV

The others had returned after their failed mission. Not only had they failed to stop the cons from getting the power source they needed. They also learnt that Soundwave had kidnapped Nahko and Ratchet. No surprise with Nahko. They'd been after her for a long time. But why take Ratchet and leave the other two at base? So far, the only clue they've found is the piece of Laserbeak that Smokescreen blasted off.

"Peeled some paint off Laserbeak. But if I were a better shot, Nahko and Ratchet would still be here, " Smokescreen states sadly. How could I have let the cons take Nahko? He asks himself.

"Not your fault, I should have stayed behind to guard her. It's my duty as her guardian, and again, I failed, " Jazz tells him.

"Chin up, soldiers. We've combed the entire floor. For the moment, that remains our only clue, " Ultra Magnus states as Arcee holds the piece of Laserbeak.

"Nothing in the groundbridge log. If they bridged Ratchet out of here, they used theirs, not ours," Bulkhead tells them.

"Why take Ratchet prisoner, but leave these two behind?" Arcee asks.

"If Megatron intends to hold our medic hostage, I find it curious that he's made no demands," Magnus states.

"It would stand to reason that Ratchet must possess something the Decepticons want," Optimus tells them.

"Like his knowledge of Nahko's transformation? " Jazz suggests.

"Sounds plausible, I mean, why else take him?" Smokescreen asks.

"Well, whatever the 'Cons are after, Ratch won't give it up. Right?" Bulkhead asks. No one says anything. True Ratchet may not talk, but they all know the cons don't need him to talk. In order to get information out of him. They must move swiftly to find cons and rescue Nahko along with Ratchet. And there is still the problem of the cons knowing the location of their base.

(Nemesis)

"And what did the cortical psychic patch yield?" Megatron asks Shockwave.

"It revealed much of how Nahko Prime's transformation progressed. The information will be very useful when I start my experiments on the humans, " Shockwave tells him.

"Excellent, and what did you uncover about the formula for synthetic energon? " Megatron asks him.

"Only confirmation that the synthetic Energon formula is unstable and that the Autobot medic's work on it remains incomplete," Shockwave answers.

"Then it seems we must help Ratchet finish his work," Megatron states. "This is your top priority until we revive Cybertron," he tells Shockwave. Who nods his helm. "I shall persuade Ratchet while you update your data on Nahko Prime," he adds before leaving. Megatron does manage to persuade Ratchet to work with Shockwave to complete the formula for synthetic energon.

Or so he thinks, Ratchet is merely buying time. Until he can find Nahko and escape. Or until the others find them. Besides if they can complete the formula and acquire it with the Omega Lock. The autobots can revive Cybertron. It's a gamble, but anything to restore his home to its former glory. Besides he still has no idea where the cons are keeping Nahko or if she is even still alive.

Meanwhile Nahko has not found a way out of her cell yet. And she has some sort of device on her neck preventing her from transforming. She can fly, but has no access to her weapons. But if she can just get out of her cell, she should be able to find Ratchet and escape. Besides there is still hope Dawn and the others will find them. But there is an army of cons and another predacon between both parties.
