Episode 17

First's POV:

I cant wait to get off the stupid stage and away from View to find khao. But I have to be patient. Our wedding date is just now announced officially and publicly. This means it's no longer just a family matter. Entire world is now a part of it. The stocks and share market is involved. One wrong rumor and it could crash down. But I don't care about the possible money loss. All I care is that how will people look at Khao if I call off the wedding in future and be with him. It was easier to do so before the announcement. I need to clear this. I need to know what does this kiss mean to him? What are his feelings?

I keep my smile as everyone is congratulating us. View has clung to my arm and her cologne is making me feel suffocated. Not because of its scent but because how unfamiliar and distant it feels even though she is my fiancé. Thousands of the thoughts in my head. Maybe I shouldn't have agreed to this arrange marriage at first place!

After one hour I finally manage to escape to the back stage, immediately checking the corridor space where I left khao behind. But it's empty. I stay calm as I understand waiting there for one hour is insane to expect from someone.

My eyes start to search for him in the crowd when I find Bright. I pull him away where I can talk. "Where is khao?"

"Not sure First. He ran off immediately after you went on the stage. I'm trying to find him too!"

Hearing this I start to panic. "What do you mean?" I run randomly just trying to find him.

"First...." Bright calls me grabbing me. "First listen....you can't run like that ok? Pond is watching us. We can't let the guests think there is some problem....there are reporters here too!!!!"

I nod and sigh trying to collect myself together. Khao where are you?

After the event, we searched everywhere but couldn't find him. Lastly before going to the police, Bright asked the venue for the cctv footage. They send us the clips after getting good amount of money from us even though we are on their vvip list. I dont really care about that. Fortunately there was no cam inside of the passge connecting to the stage but I remember there was one outside where Bright was waiting for us.

"You wont believe this!" Bright says as he opens the video near the corridor where he ran pass and at time-stamp before my stage entry. I quickly stand behind him as he shows me laptop screen. I see Khao running quickly passing by Bright then entering garden area. So we open the next clips of garden's cctv during that time span. we see khao wiping his tears as he stood there. No one is there since everyone must have go to the stage of main event area. But that guy Book - who Bright had hired - comes and they talk. They seem to already know each other. Bright and I look at each other confused. Then Book takes Khao's hand and they both leave the venue.

"I can't believe this?" Bright looks at me in surprise.

"You told me you hired that guy to keep Force away from Khao?? Not Khao away from me !!  right?" I ask confused and frustrated. I feel so mad seeing Book holding and comforting him just after he kissed me? That should have been me!

"I don't know what happened and how do they know each other. I didnt tell Book about Khao yet...I just told him to keep Force busy and occupied by hitting on him...thats why I invited him to the event...but hey good thing is we now know...where to find Khao.....He is probably with him."

"Call him now!" I almost shout impatient.

"Calm down na First! He probably ran away from you....if we call he'll be alerted....I'll quickly go upstairs and check..." Bright says.

"I'll come with you..." I say rushing towards the door.

"Are you sure?" Bright raises a brow.

"What do you mean?" I ask. Why doesn't he want me to go with him.
