Episode 6

First's pov:-

"It was my mother's necklace okay?!!!!!! it was the only thing she left for me before she left me alone in this world!!!!!!!!" He spits everything out like he had hold it in for very long time. I don't say anything instead I study him. He immediately looks in front avoiding my eye contact. He bites his lower lip as he seems to regret lashing out already.

I also feel bad for pestering him. I know it's not his fault that View hasn't showed up. I don't know why I am bothering him though! I am usually not like this. But I just don't feel like letting him go yet.

"I am sorry" I say and he finally dares to look at me."I am sorry I didn't know..." I apologize from bottom of my heart. Seems he had rough life. No wonder View can make him do any job.

"its okay lets just go...can we?"

"yeah..." I just start the car without dragging the topic any further. But during the entire ride, all I can think of is Khaotung's sad eyes when he mentioned about his mother. I wanted to ask more but I don't think we are close enough for that conversation yet. We finally reach the location for the venue checking. Before I get out I call him,

"Khaotung?"

"Yes?"

"You don't need to call me First Sir. Just call me First"

"But sir-"

"Just First is fine..." I say and get out of the car not letting him talk anymore on the matter. I don't know what came over me but I wanted to reduce the gap between us. We just met today morning and I already feel like I should know more about him.

He follows me as I enter the venue. Pond, Phuwin and Bright are already there.

"Where's Ms. View?" Phuwin asks checking behind me and not finding her. "She couldn't come." I simply reply.

"What???! So you were alone doing shopping for entire time or did you just make me spend time with him for no reason?" Pond huffs.

"Uhh now we'll fall behind the schedule!" Phuwin exclaims looking down.

"I wasn't alone! We're already done with the shopping! We won't be behind our schedule" I reply to both of them. They still look confused.

"He was with First keeping him company" Bright says smilingly as he pushes Khao to the front. Khao lands on his two feet as he almost lost his balance.

"Who's this?" Pond asks.

"View sent him in her place" Bright tells and looks at me to check if I am ok. I try to stay calm. "What? She is not coming for venue check too? But...but she is THE BRIDE." Phuwin says.

Before we could discuss further, the manager arrives and takes us to the first venue location. So, everyone just silently follow him.

"Hey how was the shopping?" Bright whisper-asks me as we walk. "Good"
"What happened there? Why does the boy look like he's about to cry?" He teases me so I ignore. But I turn back to see Khaotung's face who's following us. He does look like someone has snatched his toy or something. What's up with him?

"What did you do to him First?" He narrows his eyes. "Nothing!" I respond immediately!

"..."

"Really! Nothing!" I say again as he looks at me suspiciously....more likely just teasing me.

We reach at the spot and scene in front of us is really very mesmerizing!

"Wow! It's so beautiful!!" Phuwin exclaims.

"You only short-listed it! Why are you acting surprised?" Pond teases him. I never saw Pond being playful with anyone before. "Hey! I shortlisted but never saw it in real." Phuwin defends himself.
