Chapter 143: Disappointment

"Too sweet! I'm getting sour!" Rosie stood up and skipped away to go find Jimin.

Lisa continued to knit, slowly picking up her pace. Autumn was starting in a few days, and she only just thought of the idea to knit Jungkook a scarf today, so she had to hurry.

The temperature was slowly dropping and Jungkook had to climb up to her room every night in his black silk pajamas. A scarf would help, right?

Besides that, Jungkook was always giving her gifts. Anything she could buy with money, Jungkook could also buy.

So, she decided to create something for him! 

For the next few days, Lisa went to the filming location even when it wasn't her time to film yet. In three days, she finished her scarf!

The first day of autumn was tomorrow.

"Yes!" Lisa removed the scarf from her knitting needle and pulled on it to test its quality before wrapping it around her own neck.

"Perfect," she muttered as she stuffed it into her bag and stood up to go change. She had finished her scenes already, but she stayed to finish the scarf.

After returning home, she quickly hid the bag and got ready for bed. There was the sound of someone landing onto the balcony and Jungkook walked in.

It had only been about four months since they first met, but it seemed like she knew him better than people she had been with for her lifetime.

She enjoyed spending time with him and she felt closer to him than most people.

That seemed quite like fate to her. . . They were a match made in heaven!

"What are you thinking about?" Jungkook asked when he saw her giggle on the bed.

Lisa stuck her tongue out playfully and slid down into the blankets, "Nothing, nothing! Let's go to sleep!"

Jungkook kissed her on the forehead gently and closed his eyes.

The next morning, Lisa woke up earlier than Jungkook. Maybe because she was too excited, but she didn't sleep extremely well last night.

She was in a state of being half-awake and half-asleep, and almost as if she was programmed to do so, she woke exactly when she had told herself to yesterday night.

She was very eager to give her gift to Jungkook and see his reaction. He would like her gift. . . right?

She quietly climbed out of bed and grabbed the bag from the drawer she kept her undergarments. Lisa placed it on the floor next to the bed and climbed into the blankets again.

Once she returned to the position she slept in, Jungkook  opened his eyes.

Lisa flinched from surprise and her mouth fell open, "You're awake! When did you wake up?"

Jungkook raised one eyebrow confusedly, "Just now. Why are you so surprised?"

"Nothing, nothing!"

Jungkook was still suspicious as he placed one hand onto her waist, "Why are you awake so early?"

"I. . . I went to the restroom."

Jungkook stared into her eyes, making her look away guiltily, "Really?"

"Well. . ." Lisa wondered if she should just give it to him now. Finally, she mustered up her courage and sat up on the bed. Gu Yechen also sat up straight and looked at her amusedly.

"Well. . . Today is the first day of autumn. I. . . I. . ."

"You what?" Jungkook rested his head on his hand and grinned at her.
