Chapter 192: Blackmail

The next morning, Lisa arrived at the Kim Corporation quite early.

She entered her office and opened her bag. Inside, there were several red roses bundled together.

Lisa took them out with a smile and grabbed an empty vase sitting on her table. She filled it up with water and put the flowers in.

Immediately, the red color brightened up the room, and the fragrant smell of roses also spread into the office.

These roses were from the garden in front of Jungkook's mansion, and they were freshly picked. At once, Lisa's mood was lifted from the beautiful sight.

She sat back down and went to work.

After lunch, she returned to her office and pulled out her phone to see the message she had just received.

Only child. . . Has three children. . . Wife is a full-time housewife. . .

Lisaclosed her phone and stood up. She put on her jacket before leaving her office.

A few minutes later, she knocked on the door twice and stepped in.

There was a man sitting in front of his desk, and he looked up frustratingly when he heard the door open, "What is it?! I'm busy, get out!"

Lisa grinned and closed the door gently, "Manager Fu, your temper doesn't seem to be very good today."

Fu Qi looked up from the female voice, and his mouth fell open when he saw Lisa. He jumped up from his chair and walked over.

"CEO Kim! CEO Kim, what honor do I have today for you to visit me?"

Lisa shook Fu Qi's hand politely and sat down onto the couch, "Manager Fu, I have heard great things about you since I arrived at the company. I want to thank you for everything that you have done for the Kim Corporation."

Fu Qi chuckled as he smiled brightly, "Thank you, CEO Kim! This is all part of my job!"

Lisa grinned slightly, "How long have you been working here?"

Fu Qi thought for a few seconds, "Oh, for many years already, probably -"

"So you should know that this is the Kim Corporation right, and that it is supposed to go to me. I am the only rightful heir of the Kim Corporation." Lisa cut him off.

"Uh. . . yes, President Kim I. . . I know that."

Lisa smiled, "Good. Manager Fu, how are your kids doing right now?"

Fu Qi gulped as he started to realize that this conversation was a little weird, "Um. . . they are doing good."

"Oh, really? How old are they?" Lisa tilted her head slightly with a sweet smile.

"The oldest is 13, then 11, and the youngest is 6."

"Oh, wow!" Lisa clapped her hands together, "Your oldest is starting high school soon!"

Fu Qi nodded his head.

"Do you know what high school he will be going to?"

Fu Qi straightened his back slightly at the subject and smiled proudly, "XX High School!"

"Wow, that is the best high school around! I heard that one is very hard to get into!"

Fu Qi nodded, "Yes, it is. We are all very proud of him."

"But it is very expensive, right?" Lisa said with a worried expression.

Fu Qi gulped and laughed awkwardly, "Yes, it is indeed a little pricey."

Lisa raised one eyebrow and sighed, "Yes, I can understand that it must be hard, especially since you are the only one working, and you have to take care of your parents too. However. . . there is one thing I don't quite understand."

Fu Qi looked up, "What is it?"

"It must be hard on you, but I can't really understand why you would break the law to help pay for your kid's high school fee?" Lisa said with an innocent smile.

Fu Qi's face immediately paled as he jumped up from the couch, his eyes darting around nervously, "CEO Kim, what are you talking about?!"

Lisa grinned and crossed her arms and legs as she leaned back against the couch, "Manager Fu, you know perfectly well what I'm talking about."

Fu Qi tried to remain calm as he sat back down slowly, staring at Lisa cautiously, "I don't. CEO Kim, what are you talking about?"

Lisa casually pulled out her phone and started the recording.

A few minutes later, Fu Qi's paper was as pale as a paper as he stared blankly at the black phone screen.

"Manager Fu, now do you know what I am talking about?"

Fu Qi knew there was no way he could get out of this now. The recording was direct evidence, and from the looks of it, Lisa already knew what was going on.

"CEO Kim, please don't report me! Please! I can't lose my job! Chairman Bai threatened me and said he would fire me, so I had to help him! Please help me, CEO Kim! Please!"

Lisa grinned and put her phone back into her bag, "Don't worry, Manager Fu. I am not as heartless and mean as my dad. Of course I will help you!"

Fu Qi looked up eagerly, "Really?! CEO Kim, will you really help me?! I promise I will never do it again! I will definitely not help chairman Bai ever again!"

Lisa nodded her head and crossed her arms together, "You just have to listen to me and do as I tell you to do."

Fu Qi gulped and decided that keeping his job was more important at the moment, "Yes, CEO Kim. What do I have to do? I will do anything!"

Lisa grinned, "I just need you to be truthful. In a few weeks, there is a board meeting. You need to promise me that you will always say the truth in that meeting. I'm not asking you to frame Bai Jiawei in any way, just say the truth. Understand?"

Fu Qi immediately nodded his head, "Yes, CEO Kim! I understand, understand. . ."

Lisa stood up, "Good. Just don't forget, I still have the recording. I don't think any high school will want a criminal's child as their student."

Fu Qi gulped and nodded his head.

Lisa smiled sweetly before leaving the room. Once she was gone, Fu Qi collapsed onto the ground and banged her fist onto the table.
