Chapter 178: I'm Back

Lisa furrowed her eyebrows together and after a few seconds of serious debate, she looked up and said, "No, take me to the Jeon Corporation first."

Rosè's mouth fell open, "The Jeon Corporation? Why?!"

"Jungkook should be at work right now, right?"

Rosè thought about it and shrugged, "I'm not sure."

Lisa pulled out her phone and texted Jungkook:
'Where are you right now? What are you doing'

Jungkook chuckled when he saw her message, because it sounded like a wife questioning her husband to make sure he was "on task".

'I'm at work. Doing work. How are you, baby?'

Lisa smiled happily, 'Good! Bye!"

"Let's go to the Jeon Corporation!"

Rosè frowned, "But. . . But, shouldn't you go get your CEO first? You can't let the stupid white lotus steal it away!"

Lisa grinned, "I know, I know. Of course not! However, I promised to go find Jungkook when I return."

Rosè clicked her tongue several times before starting the car.

Lisa went up to the top floor of the Jeon Corporation alone, and the guards stopped her because she was wearing a hat and sunglasses.

She quickly pulled it off and one of the guards recognized her, and let her in.

She knocked on the door once before walking in. Jungkook was inside, and he seemed to be reading over a contract.

He didn't look up when he heard the door open and Lisa walked over to the desk. After several of silence, Jungkook frowned and asked, "What is it?"

When there still wasn't any response, he looked up frustratingly. He blinked a few times when his eyes landed on Lisa, and she smiled at him.

Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows together and looked back down.

Lisa was very confused by his reaction. Shouldn't he be very excited and happy?! Did he not even care?!

"Jeon Jungkook!" She screamed angrily.

Jungkook froze as he slowly lifted his head up again and eyed Lisa weirdly. After several seconds, he finally spoke.

"You're real?!"

Lisa scrunched her face up, "What do you mean?! Of course, I'm real!"

Jungkook stood up and walked around his desk. He stopped in front of her and looked down in disbelief. He slowly lifted his hand up and rested his palm onto his cheek.

For the past few weeks, he had way too many dreams and hallucinations of her coming back that he didn't know what was real or fake now. He had thought that this was also just a dream.

"When did you come back?"

"This morning! And I have to go to the Kim Corporation, but I came to you first! And then you say I'm fake!" Lisa stomped one foot onto the ground angrily and crossed her arms together.

In her imagination, Jungkook would jump up when he saw her and run over in shock to hug her. He would be very surprised. . . but this was exactly the opposite!

Jungkook smiled and pulled her into a hug. He squeezed her very tightly, almost as if to make sure she was real.

"Lisa, you're really here."

Lisa looked up and blinked a few times, "Yes. . ."

Jungkook kissed her on the forehead gently, "I missed you."
