I know, right? Right on time for spring break before we hit Miami!!!." I said in a sing-song voice
My roommate and I were walking back to the dorms and talking about our first move of spring break. We were attending a trail ride that one of the football players was hosting. It was off campus at this big ass country mansion that one of the player's grandparents left to him. Of course, ya girl Jerry O was gonna be there with my best friend Xavier. Xavier and I met in our 7th grade year and have been best friends ever since. We went to two different high schools but after his parents passed away he transferred to mine and now we both attend the University of South Carolina.
"Janerika!!!!" A voice yelled out
It was only one person who could call my name like that and I started laughing. "Hey, Xavier" I smiled
He did his usual and grabbed my book bag and soccer bag. "Wassup, Ash! Aye lil bit whatchu wearing to the trail ride?"
"Why?"
"So we can match duh"
"X, with all due respect, I don't want to match with you, You scaring the hoes!." Ash and Janerika laughed
"Keep it up ima beat one of these niggas up." Xavier laughed
"Ash, girl when we was in 8th grade he beat up this guy in the marching band because we were flirting"
"I did not. He was a hoe"
"And you know this how?." Ashlee asked. "He played bass drum all he know his hitting shit" Xavier smiled and laughed
"Bye, Xavier!" I laughed
We got to the dorm, and Xavier stood in front of the door. "I'm serious lil bit, match with me." He smiled that smile I love and put more emphasis on his already deep country accent
"Ugh!, fine! We can match cowboy boots and hats, but that's it!." Janerika smiled
"Thats my girl" He kissed her cheek and walked off

"Ashlee, not today"
"I'm just saying, at least ride that horse. You know what that girl from Chem 2 said about him"
"Limpin Lisa?," I asked as I laid out my fit for the night
"Who do you think the limp came from?!"
"My God from Zion" We laughed
"Thats literally my best friend and I don't look at him that way. But his accent is super sexy" Janerika shrugged. The girls talked a little more before heading to the cafeteria for dinner. After that, it was nap time then party time.

Aye, mane we hurry up! I gotta pick up Janerika and Ashlee!." I said to my roommate, Sam.
This nigga was taking forever getting his locs pinned up and I was about ready to leave his ass there. Finally, he came out of the bathroom. "Why you rushing me?" Sam asked
"You know Lil bit don't like waiting"
"Oh, your girlfriend," Sam smiled
"Shut up nigga. Lil Bit and I just friends" I bit my lip at the thought of her
"Is that why you biting your lip?" Sam laughed
Before I answered, Lil Bit was calling me on FaceTime.
X: I know, I know lil bit im coming J: Better hurry up!! X: Calm yo lil inpatient ass down!
They laugh
J: Just hurry up! I'm ready to party!! X: I got you mamas, i'm coming
Xavier hung up the phone and his roommate was loaded with jokes. "I got you mamas" He mocked. Man just ask J out," He said as we walked to my car
Listen I'll take your advice about alot but women ain't one. Remember baby Dee?". I laughed
X, bruh fuck you." They get into the car and head to Janerika's dorm. We pulled up and headed straight to her door. I knocked twice and her roommate answered.
"What's up Ash Bash."
"Hey, Xavier. Js in the bathroom. Hey Sam" Ashlee smiled
"What's up, Ash" Sam tried to be sexy
Xavier goes to the bathroom and sees his best friend looking so good as she put the finishing touches on her makeup.
"Hey lil bit" I said trying to hold my composure
"X! Hey!" She jumped in my arms
"I'm glad you matched with me" I said looking at her hat and boots and the color coordination of our outfits
