Yes, sir, they have been settled in Colorado for about two hours now," His manager replied

August nodded as he made his way back to the tour bus they were now heading to San Jose as the last stop on his "Aug I want for Christmas tour". Soon as I planted my ass in a chair I called my baby.

She sighed

E: Baby, the kids and I miss you when are you coming home?
A: Eryn, babe I'll be there tomorrow night my show is during the day so I'll finish up around 11-12
August and his wife, Eryn, talked for a few more minutes then they hung up for the night. August sighed to himself. He knew his wife and kids kissed him, hell he misses them.

What's goin on boy?." Roy asked

Man it's Eryn,"I sighed

What's up wit sis she straight?." He asked sparking his blunt

Yeah but she just been in my ear about me being gone all the time."He passed me the blunt

But that's marriage man and you have kids now I'm sure them babies miss you."He answers

I know that man. I miss them just as much but I gotta be gone so I can keep them in all that fly shit and them expensive ass vacations."I sighed

That's great but you mean more to them than that designer shit. If you lose everything you have today Eryn and the girls will still be there."Roy hit the blunt

As much as I hated to admit but this nigga was right. Eryn was with me when I sleeping from house to house, eating ramen noodles and she never switched up. She even helped me flip a few birds back in the day. Our relationship has been perfect in my eyes. She's successful and so am I but success doesn't mean anything to me now that I have a family.

August sang his last two songs and the concert ended.

We just finished up the last set and now it was time for me to fly to Colorado and be with my family. I'm so glad this was a day time event. My manager and my nigga Roy headed for the airport I grabbed my shit off the bus and flew to Witchita, Kansas.

As I walked in the airport fans came running. I signed some autographs and took pictures. But in the process they announced that flight 280, to Colorado would be delayed until sometime tomorrow or around 4 am. I know Eryn didn't want to hear it but I had to tell her.

A:hey baby
E: Hey when are you landing? The girls made you—-
A: baby i won't be able to make it.. my flight got delayed
E: Aug, you promised
A: i know baby tell the girls I'm sorry and I'll buy them something to make up for it
E: they don't want the gifts they want you. Layla told me she wants Santa to make you stay home
A: im sorry baby

Eryn didn't say anything she just hung up in my face and I couldn't blame her honestly.

Damn man! I promised Eryn I'd be there tonight."August said

Whats the next move?."Roy asked

Jay? Can you get me a rental car?." I asked

Yeah but that's gonna be expensive and they won't let you—-

Buy it." I cut him off

What?," Roy asked

Buy that shit man. I gotta go see my babies."I tossed him my wallet

Doing as told Roy buys the rental car. We loaded the bags up and Roy started driving first. At least the ride won't be that long. I called their security and told him to take my babies Christmas shopping around 2 and don't bring them back until I say so.
-7 hours later-
7:15.
Come on babies I'm wore out." Eryn said

She walked in the rental house and cut the lights on. To her surprise August sat there with gifts in his hand and a Santa suit on.

Daddy!," the girls ran to him

No no. Im not daddy Im santa," I acted

Eryn watched almost in tears as her husband interacted with their three girls.

What would you like for Christmas?." He asked

I want a iPhone. My parents think I'm too young but I'm almost 14." His daughter said

And how about you two?." I asked them

We want our daddy," The twins said

Well I think I have the perfect gifts for you all," He dug in his pocket

August handed his oldest daughter, Aleah, a gift wrapped box

The 8+?! Layla, Logan look." She showed off the phone

And for you two I got something special." He said

August jumped behind a curtain and pulled off the hay and beard then jumped back out.

Daddy!," They said again and jumped in his arms

We knew you wouldn't let us down." Layla said happily

Of course baby. Hey why don't y'all go play me and your mother need to talk." I put Layla down

Eryn, I'm sorry I was wrong I put show biz before my business at home. I got to realize I have a family now and it's not just me I'm supporting. I know now that financial support means nothing compared to mental stability, love and support. I couldn't let my girls down this year," I told her

I love you baby and we just wanted you hear. This fly shit and expensive gifts is nice but your the best gift." She said

The two stood there each other's lips in a heated kiss.

For the rest of the night the family laughed, talked and overall had an amazing time now that dad was home. It was the best Christmas present any of them could ask for.,
