I was at the finest hotel in Santa Monica, Cali. The Fairmont for the NBA awards tonight. I was so happy to see my lady she had flew in from our home in San Marcos, TX for the show as well.

Hey beautiful," he kisses her

I have the most beautiful dress for the show and after party," His girlfriend, Tika said

Oh really? I can't wait to see you in it,"He kisses her

The kiss heats up but Tika's phone started to ring. Sometimes I hated her work but she doesn't wanna quit. Tika is a lawyer and she works with everyone from sports contract issues to race issues.

Hey Gee what's up?." Tika said

I was being nosey, I wanted to know who this Gee person was. He peeked around the corner and seen Giannis Antetokounmpo on her phone screen. When the hell she start talking to him? After she hung up the phone she was smiling hard as hell and I still stood there making her run into my chest.

Giannis Antetokounmpo. Since when did you two start FaceTimeing each other?," Rudy asked

I worked on his case with immigration and I actually dated him in college," She explained

The two finished what they started and took a nap. By the time they woke up it was time for them to get ready. While the make up artist did Tika's make up I got my hair touched up by my barber aka my best friend.

Thanks man," I pay him and he leaves

Baby you almost done?." He yelled into the bathroom

Yes sir, Mr.Gobert she's almost ready," The MUA replied

Rudy was fixing his tie and cuff links when he seen Tika behind through the mirror. He turned around and his mouth dropped wide open.

What do you think?." She asked me

The two were escorted down stairs and to their limo. Soon as we pulled up to the venue paparazzi came running over to the limo. My security moved them out the way and together we walked onto th red carpet.

Gosh he looks so handsome. I'm here at the NBA awards with my wonderful man thee one and only , Rudy Gobert and I just couldn't take my eyes off of him. We walked into the venue and the show went on as usual. As they finished up their tribute to Robin Roberts, Luka Doncic came over to Rudy and I's table.

My bad Rudy. I just came over on friendly matters," Luka smirked

Yall coming to the after party?," Luka asked

I have to admit for a second there I got lost in his accent. Tika shook her thoughts and kept the conversation by bringing up that time I was in Slovenia doing a shoot. You remember when you almost fell into that pool?," She asked

Thank God I didn't fall in I would've drowned," We laughed; We was laughing until we heard Rudy clear his throat. Oh babe I was in Slovenia doing a shoot and I ran into Luka, he was showing me the recreation center he used to shoot around at so we went to the pool area, he was teasing one of the guys there and almost fell in. God don't like ugly," I laughed

Would've been a sad day if you had drowned," Rudy rolled his eyes

Baby that was rude," She said to him

What? I mean he's 6'7 and can't keep himself from drowning? That would have been his fault," He laughed as if it were funny

My dad passed away before he started teaching me. It was gonna be one of our goals when he finished his treatment but he died, thats why I can't swim," He walked off

Rudy are you serious?," Tika asked

How was I supposed to know his dad died? Now come over here and dance on me baby." He sipped his drink and slapped her butt

You had enough of this and I'm gonna go find Luka and apologize for a grown ass mans childish behavior," I walked off

Tika moves through the party looking for Luka then she find him by the bar. Hey Luka, I'm so sorry for Rudy he's just had a lot to drink," I said to him

I think I'm the one that should be apologizing," Rudy came out of nowhere

Look man I was out of line and I'm sorry. I'm sorry about your dad too, I don't know what I would if my dad passed away," Rudy sighed

All is forgiven man ima a man too so I understand," They laughed and dapped up

Well I'll see y'all later I got someone waiting for me," He stepped off and we seen him smack this black girl on her ass

Baby.. I'm sorry I got jealous..," He sighs
