———

In the distant light of life long past

The truth be told in unfairness

The lack of what thy love ever last

While what thy mourn twists into our stillness

As thy hang thine head and wallow in hate

Thine all seem to forget until thy too grow old, in the beyond of too late;

That life is not a game to play

But a story to be shared and told

Experience guides ones mind and thoughts,

Through thy everlasting story carved in stone and blood.

But if thy does not share ours with those yet to speak of sorry,

The tale they tell too, will only be that of melancholy

Are you ready to hear that story?

"If we're transporting Crowned to the capital... Do you think that we will get a good buck for this?" Eraser asked with a raised brow. He hadn't gotten a response for a long while, so he nudged Tree with his elbow.

"What do you want? I'm reading, Eraser." Tree snapped through bared teeth, it only made the other nudge him again out of spite.
"EUGH. Okay. Fine. Books down, mate!" He dropped it, and crossed his arms.
"What in Crowned's name do you want?" The late noon air blowed his leaves about, his face shifting along as they drifted. It distorted his irritated glare slightly and made Eraser gaffes audibly.
"Just SAY what you want so I can read! Bloody hell..."

The man cleared his throat through his wheezing cackle and side eyes Tree, "Do you think we will get a reward? For bringing the new Crowned to the capital? Honestly, with all the trouble we've been through. We should! I'm practically sticking my neck out here, eh?" Eraser grinned widely, exaggerating his greed for comedic purpose.

Tree held his head in his hands, leaves rustling with his growing nerves, "You are impossibly abhorrent to spend time with..."

"You love it!"

"I would rather rip out my branches, and sort them by shape and size, with a crossbow pointed at my head than talk with you, at the moment." He seethed in response.

"Sounds like fun." Eraser shrugged, then was swatted in the back of the head. It had only encouraged a chuckle to fall from his lips.

"If I could wring my hands around your bloody neck, I'd bloody do it. Crowned help me if I hear another word before we stop again." Tree snapped, glaring at the other with more of a temper than before. After the death. And chaos. He felt rather irritable.
