After I finished unpacking after about an hour I laid down on my bed and stared at the bottom of the bed above me. It was probably 6 o'clock now, Pearl and everyone else in the cabin were outside playing kickball or something. I was so tired from the car ride so I drifted asleep.
I woke up, someone was poking me. I rolled away from them and towards the wall and tried to fall back asleep, then they started shaking me. Someone yelled "WAKE UP AMETHYST!" It sounded like Pearl. I opened my eyes a bit and saw Pearl staring down at me. "We're going to miss dinner." She said as she pulled me off the bed and onto my feet. A bell rung and I heard everybody running to the big building. I fell onto Pearl a bit and blushed, "I'm sorry." I said. Pearl patted me on the head, trying to hide the fact that she was fixing my hair. "It's okay." she grabbed my hand and we ran to the big building where the cafeteria was. We ran up to the counter where they were serving food, I got two hotdogs and Pearl got a salad.
I found it nice that Pearl was hanging out with me all day. Maybe she likes me. I smiled a just at the thought of it but then shook my head. No, no, she probably treats all the newcomers like this. Pearl saw me, she smiled then asked "You okay amethyst?" she put her hand on my shoulder, I blushed. "Heh I'm fine." We sat down at the same table and talked a bit. After eating we headed outside, it was just starting to get dark out. "We're having a bonfire tonight. Do you want to go with me?" Pearl asked. "Sure." I replied quickly. We walked back to the cabin and sat on my bed. Pearl gasped "I almost forgot." She smiled and ran to the door "Stay there!" she yelled then ran out of the cabin.
