Camp Universe (Pearlmethyst AU)

Your first day!

Finally, after hours of staring out the car window and chatting about my dad with my mom I could finally see the Camp. I was kind of stressing out this whole ride about it, new people, new places...I was used to the same old things my whole life.  Even though I didn't want to be here, it was nice to get away from all that yelling between my mom and dad. If I had a choice I would have stayed home and watch tv with my dad, but I...I guess I don't really have a home anymore. Sense mom and dad split up they agreed on selling the house, now they both stay in separate apartments. They both decided that I should go to this sleep away camp for the summer while they figure things out.

We got to the camp and stopped the car, I unbuckled and hugged my mom from my seat and grabbed my suitcase "Do you have everything you need?" she asked as I got out of the car. "Yes. We've been through this a thousand times." I said back to her.

 "Be careful Amethyst. I love you." "I love you too." I pulled my suitcase out and closed the car door. "Wait where do I go?" I yelled as my mom drove away. I guess she didn't hear me. I sighed and turned around, a tall girl approached me and I tried backing away a bit, I didn't feel like talking to anyone yet. The girl looked at a piece of paper that she was holding, she smiled "Hmm. You must be Amethyst." She said. I nodded. She looked at me "Welcome to Camp Universe. I'm Pearl." I looked at her. She was pretty cute actually. "HHello." I mumbled and looked at the ground. "It's normal to be nervous on your first day. Now, do you want me to show you where you'll be sleeping?" She said. I looked up at her "Yes please." "Alright. Follow me." I follow her to a cabin, we walked inside. She looked back at the paper in her hand. "I guess we're bunk buddies." she nudged me while smiling. She gestured to the bottom bed. I smiled and laughed a bit. I started unpacking while Pearl explained everything out for me, where to put my clothes, where the bathroom was and where we all would eat, she also told me about our room mates.

Okay...so what I learned is the cabin we were staying in had four bunks, it was me and Pearl, Ruby and Sapphire, Lapis and Peridot, then Jasper and Connie. There's two other cabins that look just like ours but I don't know who stays there. The bathroom is two outhouses somewhere by the beach and forrest. There's a big building right next to where I got dropped off and inside it is the cafeteria, and somewhere by the beach is the counselor's house.
