Camp Universe (Pearlmethyst AU)

Truth?(Pearl)

I opened the entrance of the treehouse, looked back at Amethyst and replied "Let's just say that....you found me...somewhere in the woods and it was too late to walk back to camp and we were both so tired so we slept outside."

Amethyst stared at me "Don't you wanna tell the truth?" She hid her face a bit "After all, lying did cause all of this..." she continued.

Amethyst was right but lying isn't always bad. It's just not telling all the facts,  she did find me and we were both tired and we did sleep outside...just in a treehouse outside.

I sighed "Okay, I guess we can tell the truth... to some people but we can't let the counselors know."

Amethyst put away the sleeping bag and pillow then climbed out of the treehouse and waited for me, I turned off the treehouse light I had left on all night and followed her out, closing the entrance behind me. "But aren't you a counselor?" Amethyst asked. I laughed nervously a bit "Yeah, but I'm more of the help." Amethyst and I shared some awkward glares and laughed, we started walking, Amethyst was following after me since she didn't know how to get back to camp and we were traveling together.

"I'm surprised they haven't sent anyone to look for-" Amethyst said but was interrupted by someone yelling our names. 

Ruby came out of nowhere, she was out of breath "Where were you guys?" She said as she held onto her knees and looked up at us. 

"We were in the tr-"

"Woods!" I said, glaring at amethyst, then I looked back at Ruby. I guess she didn't understand what I meant when I said 'to some people'. Ruby would just tell Sapphire, but she probably already knew since she seems to know everything; she observes everything and everyone.

"Everyone's been looking for you!" Ruby yelled.

"Really?" Amethyst replied. 

"YEAH! You two really need to get back to camp and explain all of this to Rose."

Amethyst and I ran back to camp.
