Chapter 5

Tam POV

I had  woken up this morning to  warm arms wrapped around my body, it  didn’t take me long to remember that  I had let Vic sneak in through my window last night. The way he would when we were kids. Only this time we cuddled instead of sleeping back to back.

I sighed thinking about all the memories in this old house. I still hated the fact that they were selling it. I still had no idea what I was going to do. I either leave with them  or struggle to  find a second job to buy my own place.

I couldn’t ask Vic to just let me more in. Even if I practically live there now, its not my  say. Besides I think its good we have time apart. Or at least I think so, Vic not so much. Seeing as though hes in my  bed. 

I looked over my shoulder at my  sleeping boyfriend and let out a little laugh. He was adorable,  I could still see the same kid in him as I did growing up. It made me sad to think that I might have to leave. 

Just when thought I got him back, I had to leave.

“What are you staring at?” Vic spoke in a  low sleepy voice with his eyes closed. I hadn’t even noticed he was awake.

“Just at me handsome boyfriend sleeping with his  mouth open” I teased. 

He opened  his eyes and smiled at me making my butterflies in my stomach. I loved how he could still do that to me.

“Is that so, well I hope I drooled all over your pillow” 

“Eww your gross,  if you did im going to shove it in your face” 

He laughed and pulled me in closer.   I snuggled my head against his chest listening to the deep relaxed beat of his heart. 

“don’t go to work today? Your so comfy”  he pleaded.

I smiled at this whining.

“You know I have to, baby.” 

I felt his chest rise and fall as he sighed. We both couldn’t wait till the weekend when we could spend hours in bed. Luckily today was Friday.

We cuddled for a bit longer until my alarm went  off. Leaving me to  slip out of Vic's arms  cause he had happen to fall back to sleep.

I slipped into the shower and let the  warm water hit my cold body.  Stepping out of my bathroom I tip toed down the hall to my room feeling a bit more awake. Vic was up and putting on his socks.

“Have I ever told you how sexy you look wet?” he grinned  looking me up and down making my cheeks flush.

“No I don’t think you have Fuentes” 

Quickly going over to my closet to get my gym clothes I felt his arms wrap around my waste pulling me closer. He kissed the side of my neck making me close me eyes and let out a  soft moan.

“Well you do”

I giggled at the softness of his lips as he spoke against my skin making shivers go down my spin.

“Vic, not now. Ill be late for work” 

I pulled away  grabbing my  clothes so I could get changed. Vic gave me puppy dog eyes that he knew always worked. He was killing me, but I couldn’t be late.

“Vic I promise tonight” 

“Ugh, fine. Pinky promise?” 

“Pinky promise” 

We went down stairs and as usual no one was up yet. So I quickly left her a note saying id call later and id be home next Monday.

Vic had offered me a ride since I wouldn’t need my car tonight. He was picking me up later to go back to his place.

“Coffee?”  he asked as we rolled up a Starbucks.

“Yes please. So what is this get together for anyways?”

I asked as we stood in line.

He shrugged and continued to look at the menu. I knew he wasn’t actually deciding on what to get off the menu. He knew the menu off by heart.

“Vic? What is happening tonight?”

“I don’t know”  he really wasn’t convincing and it was starting to make me annoyed.

“Really? So were just all going over to Mikes house to drink so no apparent reason? Theres always a reason”

“There doesn’t always have to be a reason. Maybe we just want to all chill?” 

I stared at him for awhile trying to see if he would crack, but he just stared ahead.

“Vic!” 

“Can I have two soy caramel macchiato please”

He was lucky we had to order but in the car ride I he was surly going to get ambushed with questions.

Later that day I was sitting down on the workout bench  watching  Cass perform lunges. She was one of my  clients I worked with. Though it was more  of a  hang out time then work when she was in training.

“So he didn’t crack?” she breathed.

“No!  I tried everything. I don’t get whats going on, and I know something is”

She dropped the weight and took a sip of her water.

“I don’t know, I mean Mike hasn’t been sleeping lately or eating much. Maybe something is up?, but I figured he was  coming down with a cold.”

“No something is up, I can smell it”  I honestly wanted to know, i hated surprises and I hated being left in the dark. Cass was always so calm with these things.

“I don’t know Tam.” she shrugged "ill ask mike tonight. Hes taking me to dinner somewhere before you guys come over”

"I envy how cool you can be with things”  Cass laughed at me. She knew how I was, how I stressed so easily and over think things.

“is this all that’s bugging you?”

“No” I sighed “My mom and her boyfriend want to move to L.A.”

Now it was her turn to  flip. Cass started to choke on her water as she gasped.

“What?” she coughed “You cant leave!”

“I don’t want to, but where am I suppose to go?”

“With Vic you nut bar! You live there most of the time”

“I know, but he never fully asked me to live, live there. I just sleep over. How am I suppose to go up to him and say, Can I live with you? My mom is moving away and im too broke to live on me own?”

Cass shook her head at me “Well you could bunk with Mike and I. Maybe tonight Vic is asking you to move in?”

“Thanks,but no thanks. As much as I love you both I don’t want to hear you two having sex all the time. Plus I doubt tonight's get together is about something as lame as to asking someone to move in with them. It isn’t marriage”

Cass agreed and we continued  back to the workout changing the conversation to our daily gossip.

The day seem to drag on and what seemed like hours and hours or  training clients  it was finally time to go home. Vic waited for me out front with music blaring from the windows.

He turned it down once I got in.

“Hey babe, how was work?”  he reached over and  kissed my cheek.

“It was long” I groaned.  He smiled and pulled  out of the parking lot.

“well its over now and it’s the weekend. Tonight will be fun”   he was too cheery right now and  I felt dead. All I wanted to do was have a shower and a nap.

Sorry guys i have exams, ill post more in a week and i promise they wont be as lame as this one.
