Chapter 7

Third Person

Kit and Mace land there ship outside the Chandrilan palace. They pulled there cloaks up and walked out of the ship. Two guards walk up to them with their weapons raised. Kit waved his hand at one of them and Mace did the same with the other.

"You will let us through."

"We will let you through."

The guards moved aside as the Jedi walk into the palace.

"There is Jedi here. I can feel it." Kit says.

"But are they here on their own free will?" Mace points out.

Kit didn't respond. They followed where they sensed the Jedi are.

"Be on your guard." Mace warned his friend.

With there hands on their lightsabers, they walk into the room. Three people turn around.

"Kit!"

Aayla runs towards her friend and hugs him. Luminara and Stass both bow to their superiors but were jumping for joy on the inside. Aayla releases her friend and bows to Mace.

"It is good to fellow Jedi." Mace says.

Then Kit notices Shaak Ti in a bacta tank.

"What happened?"

Aayla follows Kit's eyes to Shaak Ti.

"She was injured by Vader's assassin. I found her just in time to fight the assassin off and take her here. She'll wake in a day."

"So Vader has broken the Rule Of Two." Mace mutters.

The door opens and Mon Mothma walks in. Mace tenses.

"Don't worry. She's a friend. Mon, this is Mace and Kit."

"Your.. your alive? I thought Palpatine killed all the Jedi that went to arrest him."

"He killed Masters Tinn and Kolar but when he slashed my stomach, he missed my major organs." Kit answered.

"When I was blasted out of the window, I was found by a doctor who helped me recover."

Mon nods.

"The Rebellion is having a meeting here right now. Would you like to join? I have someone I would like you to meet."

Mace looks towards the other Jedi and then looks towards Mon.

"We will come."

Mon smiles.

"Okay. Follow me."

The Jedi follow Mon to a room in the palace. Several men stand around a holo projector in the middle but what caught the Jedi's attention was the little green alien sitting on a hover chair.

"Master Yoda?" Mace asks shock.

Yoda turns his head to look at them.

"Good to see you, it is." He says with a gentle smile.

Plo Koon, Obi Wan, and Ahsoka all smile at Mace and the others. The door opens and Jocasta Nu and Odan Urr walk in.

"Master Windu?" Jocasta asks, bewildered.

The console beeped. Yoda pressed a button and a hologram appeared beside him of a Cerean.

"Master Mundi!"

He smiles.

"It is good to see you, my friends. I am saddened that a cannot be there but I have to oversee a secret base on Isis."

Mace smiles.

"It is quite alright."

"A request, I have." Yoda speaks up.

We all look at him.

"Ask all of you, to be on the new Jedi Council."

This shocked all of them. Most of them had already been on the Council except Luminara, Aayla, and Ahsoka. It took them a few minutes before Ki-Adi spoke.

"I would be honored."

Many spoke in agreement.

"Settled, it is. The new Jedi Council, we are. Now, the reason I called you."

Yoda gestures to Mon Mothma. She taps a few buttons on the console before a planet appears.

"This... is Kamino. We have gathered intelligence that Palpatine is trying to create Force-sensitive clones of himself. We cannot let him succeed. I am sending two fleets there to capture Kamino and destroy the research." Mon Mothma reviews.

"I will go." Kit volunteers.

"I will go as well." Luminara says.

"Okay. The fleets are leaving in an hour." Mon responds.

They leave the room. Ki-Adi's hologram shook. He looked as panicked a Jedi can get.

"What's happening?" Mon asks.

Explosions and screams can be heard. Ki-Adi leaves the hologram's view for a second then comes back.

"The Empire is attacking Isis."
