Chapter 14

Third Person

Yaddle and Fae Coven look at the old green alien limping towards the building he came from.

"It's getting to him. The Jedi Purge hurt many of the surviving Jedi in ways people cannot imagine but none worse than Yoda. He taught almost every Jedi in the Temple. They were like his family. And then to feel them being slaughtered one by one......"

Light suddenly started appearing around the two ghosts.

"What's happening!?" Fae exclaims.

Then everything went black.

All of the Jedi in the room felt the tremor in the Force. Whether it was good or bad was yet to be determined. Yoda, being the most in-tuned with the Force, felt it the most. He knew something good was coming.

Han Solo and Chewbacca rush out of the cantina they were in looking for jobs. An explosion outside ha caused the building to rock. The duo pushed through the crowd encircling something. Han pushed through and gaped at the huge crater. Smoke rose from whatever was down there.

"Ho...how did...What happened here?" Han sputtered.

Chewbacca roared.

"I don't think this is a meteor, Chewie."

Han jumped in with Chewbacca behind him. The slid down the slope on their feet until they reached the bottom. Han coughed and covered his mouth with his hand, squinting his eyes to try and see through the thick smoke. He spotted something on the ground.

"Is that...are those people!?" Han asked incredulously.

Chewbacca got closer and roared in confirmation. The wookiee looked at the figures closer. He could not see very well but he could make out the smaller of the figures. Yoda!? Chewie roared in concern and grabbed the two figures.

"What is it, Chewie?"

Chewbacca didn't answer. Instead, he followed his best friend's voice. He grabbed Han once he was close enough and started scaling the wall. He eventually reached the top. Chewie pulled himself up easily and pushed trough the crowd until they got out. He carried them to an alley an put them down.

"What the hell is that!?" Han said as he pointed to....Yoda?

Now that he can see better, Chewbacca could tell this wasn't Yoda. This person was a female and from the same species as Yoda. While Yoda and very short gray hair, this woman had long brown hair. Chewbacca looks at the other person. It's a female from the Jenet species. A shiny glint causes the wookiee to look at the Jenet's waist. A lightsaber is clipped to her belt. Chewie looks at Yada. That's what he's calling the alien that looks like Yoda. She too has a lightsaber clipped to her belt. Chewbacca grabs the lightsabers and put them in the bag he has on his back. If anyone saw them, they would either kill them or turn them into the Empire.

"They're Jedi, hmmm. Do you know how much the Empire is paying for a Jedi!? Imagine if we sold them!"

"The Jedi are my friends!" Chewbacca roars angrily.

"Who cares! These two will give us the money to pay Jabba back and more!"

"One of the last battles of the Clone Wars was on Kashyyyk. I fought in that battle alongside my friend and also Grand Master of the Jedi. His name was Yoda, the wisest and oldest Jedi in the Order. He saved my life countless times in that battle. He saved my people's lives too. That is why the Wookiee's will always stand with the Jedi. That is why I stand with the Jedi."

"I didn't know that, Chewie." Han said softly. "Okay. What will we do with them both?"

"Judging by the bounty on Yoda's head, I think he is still alive. If not, I will find Obi Wan Kenobi. Yoda spoke very highly of him."

"I heard of him. There were rumors about him on Tatooine, the place where Vader will never step foot on."

"Ok. Let's go."
