Chapter 3

Third Person

Luminara looked over at Stass. She was meditating.

"Come. Join me."

Luminara sat down next to her fellow Jedi Master and crossed her legs. She cleared her mind trying to concentrate on the Force.

"Luminara."

Luminara was confused. Was this the Force?

"Luminara."

A Togruta appeared.

"Shaak Ti?"

"Yes. I need your help. I am dying. I was injured battling Vader's assassin."

"Your alive?"

"Yes. The only reason I can appear to you is because I'm dying."

"Okay. Where are you?"

"Aayla is taking me to Chandrila."

"Aayla's alive?"

"Yes. When you arrive, talk to Senator Mon Mothma. You can trust her. I have to go now. Please hurry."

Shaak Ti's figure faded away as Luminara awoke from her meditation at the same time as Stass. She looked at the Tholothian.

"Did you see...."

Stass nodded.

"We have to go." Luminara said.

"I agree."

Luminara stood up and offered a hand to Stass. She took it.

"Let's go help our friend."
