Chapter 11

Grant flopped down the stairs and sat on the couch beside me.

"Hey" he grinned at Calum and I.

Calum let out a yawn and I smiled at him.

"Calum, do you want to go to sleep?" I asked the tired little boy we was resting against my side.

He shook his head vigorously.

"okay well don't tell mummy I let you stay awake past bedtime okay" I put my pinky finger up to him, he quickly linked his finger with mines and grinned.

"He'll fall asleep soon" I laughed as I looked at Grant.

Right now he was under my cover with my pillow resting behind his head.

"What we starting off with?" Michael laughed as he stared at Calum who was already knocked out sleeping.

I took him upstairs and placed him on Tate's bed, as it was the only bedroom which had pillows and covers still on.

"Truth or dare!" Rachel screamed as I walked down the stairs.

We all arranged ourselves in a circle. So it went, Grant and I sitting on the couch, Danny sitting on the floor next to me, Rachel sitting on a beanbag beside him, Michael on a beanbag beside her and lastly Tate on the floor beside Grant.

"I go first. Grant, truth or dare?" Rachel asked.

"Truth" he spoke with no hesitation.

"What was you last text, and who was it to?" She asked him.

Grant grabbed his phone from the arm of the chair and unlocked it.

"My last text was "alright have fun babe" to my girlfriend" he spoke.

I felt myself frown, I had no idea he had a girlfriend.

"Who's the lucky lady?" I forcefully twitched my mouth into a smile.

"She's my mum's workmates daughter, we met at this event that my mum made me go to, and I guess we just clicked. Her names Hannah" he spoke nonchalantly.

I smiled at him before he spoke.

"Tate, truth or dare?" He asked.

I couldn't concentrate on the game.

Knowing that Grant has a girlfriend makes me want him even more. I needed to forget about these feelings somehow.

I zoned out everything as I sat in my own little worlds. All my thoughts circled around me.

Danny called my name making me snap out of my thoughts.

"Eleanor, true or dare?" He asked.

"Truth"

"Who do you have a crush on?" He smirked.

Grant.

"You know that guy across the road, Austin Ellington. He fell off of his skateboard in front of me the other day, and I helped him up. He gave me his number, I just haven't texted him" I laughed.

That's not true, I don't have a crush on Austin.

I noticed Grant's eyes on me from the corner of my eye but chose to ignore it.

"Omg girl, you best text him right now!" Danny yelled sitting up on my lap making me make a "oof" sound.

"Alright what do I say?" I asked.

"Keep it natural, I mean how long has it been since he have you it?" Rachel asked.

"Like 2 or 3 days" I said as I pulled his contact up.

Danny grabbed my phone and started to type away.

Hey Austin, it's Eleanor. Just wondering if you'd like to hang out someday. - E

Danny passed my phone back to me.

"Danny" I whined as I stared at the text.

We continued playing the game till midnight.

We had some weird dares if you asked me, like running around the streets yelling "I just lost my virginity" or "I just ate cat food" etc..

Things got personal.

Before I knew it, we were watching a movie.

My phone buzzed indicating a text.

Hey, I was wondering when you'd text me :). And I'd love to hang out, how about tomorrow?" - A

Of course... After I get off work at around 6? - E

I'll be at your house then beautiful - A

Oh boy., I have a bad feeling about this.
