I tucked my blouse into my skirt before slipping on the platform heel ankle boots that Victoria had lent me.

"You and Victoria have some small feet" he laughed.

"Not really, I mean we're I size 4, it's not that small" I chucked while finishing off with tying the laces.

"Are you going to come back after work?" Justin asked as he took a seat in my bed.

"Nah, think I'm gonna go home, thanks for letting me stay" I grinned giving him a tight hug.

"Of course, you're welcome here anytime, literally" he laughed.

I sat at my desk typing away as I was set a new assignment. I was set to write about the suspicion of horse meat.

Grant was in the cubical beside me finishing off his article.

"Ms Rose, Mr Gustin. May I have a word with both of you on my office" Mr Davis called as he walked back to his office.

Grant and I glanced at each other before stalking towards his office.

"You two have shown me great effort in your past articles, and I'm beyond happy to say that you two are now full time journalist. You will be taking Max halfaway's office. Oh and Eleanor sweetie, could you tell Max to come to my office" Mr Davis smiled.

"Oh and lastly, I want both of you to ditch your old assignment, I'm setting you another one. Benton Enterprises has let you interview them next week in North Carolina you two are staying in North Carolina for a bit." He explained.

"And Grant, I understand you live not to far from North Carolina, so you have three days in North Carolina and a week in Virginia. So I'm giving you an option to stay at your parents house or a hotel " Mr Davis continued.

"And Eleanor, I could get you hotel, or you can stay with Grant"

"She'll stay with me" Grant grinned.

I've met Tina and Gracie before. But I've never met Tyler or Tom.

We thanked him and walked out of his office in shock.

"We're going to North Carolina" I cheered as I walked down the hall towards Max's office.

"Eleanor!" Grant called.

I chose to ignore him, if he wanted to ignore me, I'll ignore him.

He grabbed my arm and dragged me into a small room.

It looked like the cleaning closet.

I remember the last time I was in a cleaning closet, it was in secondary school when I had severe claustrophobia. I was locked in there but the queen of the school, Clarissa.

Instantly I started chocking. I couldn't breath. I tried taking deep breaths, but I still couldn't get any air to my lungs. I felt as if I was going to faint. It was as if I was drowning.

"Grant" I managed to choke out as I grabbed his shoulder.

"Eleanor, what's wrong?" Grant asked with worry laced throughout his voice.

Instantly, the fear kicked in. Tears pricked my eyes as the walls looked as if they were closing in on me.

Images of everyone at school laughing at me circled around my mind.

"You're worthless"

"I feel sorry for her family, putting up with a slutty bitch like her"

"Pray for Eleanor's family, they have to live with a brat"

"Why don't you just fuck your dad?"

"Grant.. Can't breath" I managed to choke out as I held my head with my hands with my knees pulled up against my chest. The tears were never ending.

Grant started to freak out.

"Eleanor, look at me" he got down on my knees and held my face making me look at me.

"Grant make it stop" I cried as the memories of school continued to replay in my mind.

A few of those comments stood out to me.

"Just kill yourself, nobody wants you here"

That was the comment that brought me to self harm.

"You're so fat, no wonder no boy wants to date you"

That brought me bulimia. I wouldn't eat for days, but when I was forced to, I would throw it all up.

"You're worthless, nobody cares about you"

That made me stop talking. I didn't think I should talk at all considering nobody wanted me.

"Eleanor, make what stop?" Grant asked.

"Everything" I sobbed.

"El, take deep breaths, in. Out. In. Out" Grant whispered. Slowly, I managed to gain my breath, but the tears wouldn't stop nor would the memories.

I stood up and ran down the stairs, not bothering to wait for the lift.

"Linda, tell Mr Davis I'm going home early" I whispered. I looked behind me to see that Grant was running after me.

I was about to run towards my car when he grabbed my arm and spun me around against him.

He grabbed my face and crashed his lips against mines.

Sparks, fireworks, butterflies everything. It felt good.

I was in shock, I wasn't kissing back.

He was about to pull away when I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back.

I am falling so hard for you, Mr Gustin.
