Chapter 29

GRANT'S P.O.V

"Let's get started" I grinned as we all walked up the steps towards Eleanor's bedroom.

I was going to surprise Eleanor by asking her to be my girlfriend in the most specialist way ever, so she understands how much I love her.

Yes, I love her. I've loved her since that night she spent at mines.

I turned the plastic bag around as a ton of silver and pink balloon packets fell out.

"Let's do this!" Michael yelled grabbing on of the many balloon pumps.

Everyone pitched in, trying to get this room filled.

After each balloon was tied, I wrote 'Will You Be My Girlfriend?' In black sharpie.

I just hope she says yes.

Rachel and Blaise stick pink and silencer streamers against the walls and placed all the balloons in its designated places in the room. While the guys and I worked on the balloons.

We filled a few balloons up with helium and put a string around it, letting it fly up to the ceiling.

"I'm guessing you like Eleanor this much" Blaise took a seat beside me.

"Yeah, she's really special" I grinned.

"Justin just texted me, Eleanor's on her way back!" Rachel just yelled.

"Get changed!" Michael yelled throwing my suit at me as everyone ran out of the house and into mines.

Eleanor and I were going to have dinner together. Rachel and Danny had set up a candle lit dinner table for two in the conservatory. It was just there waiting for us.

As I finished putting on my suit I threw my clothes into the bathroom and pulled all the balloons into Eleanor's room and shut the door so it didn't escape.

I looked at the bed Chris had made a heart with rose petals. The room was lit up with Eleanor's fairy lights.

I quickly lay on the floor at the far end of Eleanor's room, so when she walks in I can pop out and still be in her view.

I let the balloons cover me as I lay there.

Now all I had to do was wait.
