All day everyone was ignoring me. Nobody would tell me what's going on.

"I'm going out" I announced.

Not that you care.

I got no response. I walked out of the house, my converses patting against the stoned pavement.

I had no idea why they were so mad at me. I don't know what I've done.

I stuffed my cold hands into my coat pockets as I walked down the road.

I knew exactly where I was going.

To the home of my best friend from birth, Justin Coleman.

I walked up the steps and presses the doorbell, waiting for someone to open the door.

The door was opened by Sam, Justin's 5 year old son.

"Eleanor!" He yelled as he launched himself at me, hugging my legs.

"Hey Sam, you've you been?" I asked him.

"Sam who's at the door?" I heard Victoria, Justin's wife yell.

"Eleanor! Oh my gosh, what happened? You look like crap" Victoria gasped as she cupped my face.

"Gee thanks" I muttered with sarcasm laced in my voice before chuckling.

Victoria is older than me by 3 years, and older than Justin by 1 year. She's like my second mum, or the sister I never had.

"There's this guy" I murmured.

"Boy problems? Oh my gosh, let me call Justin. Justin!" She gushed before calling for her husband to come downstairs.

Justin greeted me with a hug and his usual, playful insult.

"Eleanor. Has. Boy. Problems." Victoria squealed.

Jesus.

"Oh shit seriously, I was starting to think your a lesbian considering you get with every girl you meet" Justin snickered.

"There's nothing wrong in being a lesbian, I just go with the lesbian flow" I made wriggly line with my hands.

We sat there for a while as I explained how I met Grant, how his girlfriend is a bitch and probably made up a lie to get everyone against me. Then I got onto Austin. And how Grant looked after me that night.

I shut my eyes, afraid that I would start crying again. I was tired of crying. I never cry, but here I am, crying over everything.

"This is the first time I've seen you cry, I don't know what to do" Victoria freaked out making me and Justin to laugh a bit.

"Alright Cootie Queen, how about we order some pizza and watch Divergent over and over again?" Justin grinned ruffling up my hair.

I sat on the floor playing around with Nella and Bolt, Justin and Victoria's Giant Schnauzer and it's child.

I threw the chew toy as both dogs ran for it fighting over it.

"Nella, Nella" I cheered for the big dog to win the chew toy from Bolt.

"You know I never understood why you chose the name Nella" I heard Victoria say from Justin's arms.

Justin and I threw our heads back in laughter.

"Because Justin is a dick and named him Nella because it's Allen spelt backwards" I laugh.

Victoria slapped the back of Justin's head and scowled him.

The door bell rang, indicating that pizza had arrived.

We sat around the couch watching Divergent while eating pizza.

Sam had fallen asleep on the couch, so Justin took him to bed.

Once we had finished the pizza we all sat around the island with a glass of wine.

"Do you want to stay the night El?" Victoria asked.

I checked the time in my phone.

9:43pm.

"No I think I should get going" I smiled as I grabbed my coat off of the hook.

"Hey" Victoria grabbed my arm,"It'll all blow over" she smiled softly.

"I say you go 1 on 1 with each of them" Justin suggested.

"I'm not beating anyone up, why can't you be nice like your wife?" I laughed.

"If anyone bothers you that much, call up and I'll be there in a flash" he smiled.

I grinned before I stepped out into the dark and walked home.
