Henry's P.O.V.

I sit in the car waiting for Jimmy to radio me. I'm nervous for Jimmy,Iris, and Emily. This is a military operated place meaning they have really advanced weapons, and all Jimmy,Iris,and Emily have are simple guns.
I wish this wasn't happening right now. I wish I could remember a time when mutants were barely known of ,but I can't. The last thing I remember of a world where mutants were barely known was a car ride. I was driving a car, and it was night time. There was a girl with me. I think her name was Lauren ,but I'm not completely sure.
I remember Lauren had long wavy light brown hair, and clear dark brown eyes. That reminded me of chocolate. She was beautiful, and then as the music played my eyes began to close. I tried as hard as I could to keep them open,but I couldn't ,and then everything went dark.
I woke up later in the hospital, and I couldn't even remember my own name.
Lauren was dead. It was my fault. She was important to me in someway ,but I don't know how. That was also how I lost mobility in my legs.
That was ten years ago ,and so much has changed since then.

So this part might seem a little random ,and I know I have left a cliff hanger for what's happening to Emily, and you guys probably want to see what's happening with Luke. Just trust me this part will be very important in the next book. Yes this is becoming a series. I don't know how many books are going to be in the series or even what I am going to call the series. So do you guys have any suggestions for the series name? Please comment with name ideas. Thanks for reading.
