Emily's P.O.V.
----------------------------------------------I wanted to stay there ,and cry over my brother's corpse, but I couldn't ,because then Jimmy would of died in vain. I had to get up on my feet , and I would mourn for my fallen brother later, so I grabbed the radio. Jammed it in my pocket, and followed Dr.Haberman into the room that Luke was in.
When I entered the room I was surprised by what I saw. To my right there was a hospital bed, and then to left there was a boy sitting in a chair he was wearing a giant helmet that had wires going up to the celling. The boy was Luke Coleman. For the first time I have come face to face with the boy I have heard ,so much about. He stared straight ahead with a blank look in his brown eyes. The look on his face kind of creeps me out a little, because it seems like there was no one on the inside looking out.
He almost seemed to be helpless. There was a computer to his right that was attached to the helmet with wires . Dr.Haberman went to the computer ,and started typing on it.
"What are you doing?" I ask out of curiosity.
"Trying to shut down the program that is controlling his brain." Dr. Haberman answered as she continued to type on the computer. She typed quickly for what seemed liked serval minutes until finally she had shut the program down. Then right way Luke's eyes closed, and his head fell from where it stood alertly to now a position that looked like he was sleeping.
Dr. Haberman then came over to where Luke sat, and took off the helmet reveling Luke's pale bald head.
"Emily I need you to take him back to the van." Dr. Haberman orders "I have some business I need to take care of."
"But won't he be to heavy for me to carry?"
"Don't worry he is very light." I grab Luke's sleeping body which is very light, and head out of the room. Dr. Haberman stays. I try to run quickly ,but it is hard ,because I am carrying a body. I head out of building going through the door that we entered in, and then I hear the sound. It is the sound of a bullet being fired.
I push my self to run faster, and faster. A bullet flys pasted my right ear. I run faster. I can feel sweat of my forehead. Another bullet passes my left thigh. I run faster. Then another bullet misses me, and another.
I continue to run quicker. I am pushing myself past my limits. Bullets keep missing me as I run quicker. Sweat begins to fall from my forehead, and I begin to get cramps in my stomach. I want to stop,so bad but I can't ,because if I do this whole mission will be in vain.
I continue to run until I reach the van. I open the side door, and hop in, and close it. Once I close the door I begin to hear the sound of bullets piercing the metal door. I lay Luke on the floor of the van,
"You need to drive the car." Henry orders.
"What about Dr.Haberman?" I ask.
"Don't worry she'll be just fine." Henry replies "now drive the car."
I get up in the front seat of the car ,and I start the car, and illegally drive it away.
