So how do our characters stories end. How do these people who lives have intersected into one chaotic mess end.

Well their chaotic lives were not the only one. There were other mutants. Other people with powers that baffled many. And with that. The humans grew afraid and in their ever prescient fear they began to hate. Hate powerful enough to kill an entire species.

And that was they intended to do. It first began with secret experimentation that was revealed. It wasn't secret anymore, but the experimentation coutinues. Mutants over the years were rounded up forced to be subject to inhuman test. Others where forced into the military.

Like Luke who was drafted in at the age of twenty one. He spent over a decade forced into service. His telepathy was used to extract secrets from the other side, but after being hooked up to a machine for hours on end. His body and mind weakened. Day after day of constant toil and pain. It was just to much for his Years of the telepathy machine draining his energy. Putting him into what seemed was a endless toil of hardship.

Had destroyed him almost. And with that the military couldn't used him anymore. So they just threw him out like a tool that couldn't work he was nothing more to them but a waste of space.

And so he spent months on the street begging for money and food. Trying to get by and hardly succeeding. He couldn't get a job. His mind had been damaged terribly over the years, and even for the simplist jobs he was considered incompetent.

So he resorted to stealing. It began with petty theft. Stealing a candy bar to fill his rumbling stomach , taking some coins out of the tip jar, stealing a sandwich were just a few of the crimes he began with, but as he began to heal.

His mind grew stronger over the years. And with that his crimes essculated.

By the time he was forty five he was no longer incompetent to join the workforce but he didn't. His crimes were worse now. Beginning with fraud his felonies useually involved some sort of deceit.

And he always had the upper hand. But only one time on his very last crime. There flaw in his plan and with that flaw he was caught. Put into jail and locked up.

He would spend his days thinking of what his life could of been if he had done things differently. Imagining some thing beautiful. What would seem like a paradise inside that lonely cell.

Maybe he would have had a big house with a family. A boy and a girl maybe. A beautiful wife.

No he didn't want that. He didn't want kids. Because he knew if he had kids they would of most likely been born freaks like him.

And there were already enough mutants suffering in this world.

But even though he didn't want to bring any more mutants into this world it still was nice to dream.

As for Iris she was held against her wishes by Matthew to complete The Achilles Project. The Achilles Project was to identify the weak points inside mutants and target them. Which over the years was used for mass genocide.

As for Sam, August, Tara, and Aaron they all stayed together screeching for Emily. But they never found her. They eventually separated going on their different paths.

Tara was one of the first mutants to die due to the genocide. As for Sam tried to maintain a normal life. She met a guy named Peter, and the two of them fell into a romance like none other.
