Three Months Later...

Today was the day. Today was Knock's wedding, his clan initiation and his coronation. They were doing everything back-to-back even though that's not how it's usually done. Knock thought it would be a more inclusive event if he could do all three with all the clans watching. He was very welcomed by the other clans even those who didn't really like humans found something to like about him. He very much felt like his people were family and now just wanted to make it official.

It took months to plan everything and they started with the clan initiation since it was the easiest to plan out of all three and would only be one week to plan. The tattoo he was going to get was one that matched everyone in the wyvern clan. Each clan had a different tattoo but they all meant loyalty to the king. He chose to get it on his upper arm near his bond tattoo. The details of the initiation were taken care of by the dragon priest but he let Knock be a part of it since he was fond of him. He was just supposed to get a tattoo in front of everyone and then after recite the oath of the dragons.

They next planned the coronation next and that took more than a week. It was a full month to get the details right and rehearse but they got it and were ready to go. It was the wedding that took forever to plan since it was to be an even bigger event and every detail had to be perfect.

Since they were doing everything back-to-back, Knock couldn't invite any of the other mates and their princes he had gotten close to. If it was just the wedding and coronation then he would have gladly invited them, but the initiation into the dragon clan is intensely private and no outsiders were allowed. He had a huge argument with Korn about it but in the end he didn't want to rock the boat so he dropped the issue.

"Your Highness?" One of the maids said pulling him from his thoughts. He was currently going over some last minute stuff.

"Yes."

"We need to start getting you ready." She said. Knock nodded before standing and heading to his room. Korn was staying at his dad's cottage so they kept up the tradition of not seeing each other before the wedding. Once inside the room, some of the maids started helping him get ready. By the end of it he was looking very handsome in his traditional Thai wedding attire in his fancy tan button-up shirt and silk golden pants that looked rather baggy and stopped a little below the knee. He finished that off with dark brown stockings and a pair of traditional Thai shoes.

He had a hairstylist do his hair before he was officially ready to go. The wedding was to be held in one of the dragon temples which was a few miles away from their home, so he was going to be carried on a royal wedding palanquin. He wasn't too thrilled about making servants carry him but the guys that were to carry him said it would be an honor to do it. He left the castle with his guards knowing Korn was most likely already at the temple. He got to the bottom of the long stairs and was almost to the royal palanquin when something stopped him. More like voices stopped him.

"You were just going to get married without us, huh?" A familiar male voice said.

"You dare not invite your oldest friends to your wedding." A familiar female voice said.

"Honestly Knock, I'm disappointed in you." Another familiar male voice said.

"I should kick your ass for the trauma you put us through." Another angry familiar female voice said.

"You are lucky that I'm too in shock to be mad at you for not sending a text or email." Another familiar male voice said. Knock froze where he stood. Shock set in as recognition hit him. There was no way they were actually here. He slowly turned to where he heard the voices and saw not only his new friends from the mansion but also his friends from outside the mansion.
