So Juan left the other day. And he called from Guatemala and he arrived safe. And me and Zack have been watching Anita since then.
I love her to death, but man, she is a handful. Like omg
I have gone from 3 days a week at the university to only nights. But now I can go 4 times a week, so it's actually better. But going to school from 4:30 until 9:30 is just no fun. Especially with the 45 minute drive :|
But it's worth it because once I get my degree I will be able to make a lot of money, which will help my family. So these long, sleepless nights will be worth it.
Honestly, after getting back from the city an a exhausting night of studying there is nothing better than being able to crawl into bed with my favorite person in the world.
With Juan gone tho, there is no one to comfort Ana Bana (our nickname) in the middle of the night. Which means we have to clean out our walk-in-closet, take off the doors and out her bed in there. Ay dios, I am so glad we have a large closet hahahOften times she crawls out of bed and manages to wedge her way in between the two of us and she is a little heater, most mornings I wake up in a pool of my own sweat. Nasty :P
She often asks "Donde papa??"
Meaning we explain it several times a day, something very sad
We don't understand why he had to be sent back tho. The immigration department refused to answer any questions and will not even answer our calls. It's not that we want to cause trouble we just want to know. It's not fair that they don't have to even say why he can't stay here. The least they could do is give a reason. What is done is done tho and we must learn to live with the actions and decisions of others. We can not change the past, only learn from it and hope to use it for the future, and if we can, for the present.
