Summer Lowal

Friday Night

I was beyond excited for the reveling of my new work. It's taken me so long and I couldn't wait to show everyone how hard I've worked on them. The art gallery isn't that big, but it's big enough for my work. I really love it. Without the help of my parents I probably wouldn't have this gallery to myself.

I started to get ready, my hair and make up already finished; just had to put on my outfit. It was a huge white sweater with black stripes, it rested mid thigh, and I wore my black ripped jeans with it and my black boots. Shuffling my hair a bit, I grab my things and make way down the building and start to head my way to the art gallery.

It doesn't take long as for I got a flat very close to it.

Thank God.

No one was there yet, I had to be there before opening time to make sure things were ready for the showing. I meet Mark inside, his dimpled smile warming, dark eyes crinkling. Mark with sort of my boss. Kind of. He helps me around with the gallery, and makes sure things are always in order.

"Hey, Summer," I smiled.

"Hi Mark, you ready for tonight?" He grinned.

"Most definitely, but the bigger question is, are you ready?"

"Always." I state with a proud smile. His hand rubs my arm up and down, and he exhales.

"Well, everything seems to be in place. It's only 7:00 so they should be starting to arrive around eight-ish," I scratch my nose and nod, agreeing with him.

"Alright sounds good, um.. food and catering is here right?" I ask.

God every time it's a different story and I get scared shitless.

"Yes, yes of course. You think I'd let you down?"

"Well... last time-"

"Oi! Last time was a mistake, I forgot to call them ahead of time, but the guest still loved your work. It's not like they come for the food,"

I smirk. "Well.. I'm sure there's people out there that are like that. Like me." I grin proudly. Mark lets out a loud laugh and shakes his head.

"You missy have an obsession with food." I just shrug my shoulders,

"What else do I have to live for," He pokes my belly and I giggle.

"By the way, there's this really important guest coming, they really didn't give me their name." I roll my eyes, curiosity still bubbling up inside of me.

"If they think there's going to be VIP then they're shit out of luck, because I think everyone is important."

"That's why I love you so much," He grins.

"Love you too, now! Let's get this show on the road!"

By the time 7:30 rolled along, people started to show up. I would get asked questions about each piece and I'd politely tell them about it. Each one really describes emotion. It describes what a human really feels inside.

There was still no sign of the 'important guest' but I wasn't going to sweat it.

Harry Styles

I buttoned my jacket, and grabbed my phone, Niall was waiting outside of the company for me and I left my office telling my assistant goodnight.

The elevator ride was five minutes long considering my office is the second to last floor. As I made it outside, Niall was next to the car, in a suit and tie, hair gelled back; slick. I grin. "How are you doing, mate?" I pat his shoulder roughly and he laughs.
