- So tell me when you're gonna let me in?
You don't have to understand, you just have to have faith... faith in destiny. - Serendipity
Summer Lowal
"You should probably head home, Cart. You've been here for a few days, I'm sure your mom misses you," I tell Carter as I put on my jacket and heels. My red dress barely passes my bum and it slits just between my breasts. My hair was in its natural waves with light make up.
"Nah, I'll hang out here for a few more days, if that's okay?"I nod but furrow my eyebrows.
"Are things okay with you guys? And of course." He nods brushing me off as he continues to eat waffles and eyes the tv. I sigh and speak.
"Alright, I'm gonna head out back to the company and see what the fuck is going to happen - how we're gonna continue the painting, don't die." I lightly laugh and he shouts a goodbye as I leave my flat, taking the stairs since the elevator was out of order.
Taking the last stairs, I open the lobby door and wall outside, the London air numbing the bare skin. I shiver as I walk to my car. I then feel a hand grab my arm, softly, my breath hitching as I turn around to meet with a pair of forest green eyes. His lips were tugged into a deep frown, eyebrows furrowed, puffs of air leaving past his plump lips.
"Summer," he breathes. My eyes fluttered open and closed, and I removed the hold on his hand.
"What are you doing here? I was just coming to the company," I state with a breath, his eyes trailing all over my face and my body. My cheeks flare red at his gaze, licking his lips as his eyes return to mine.
"I wanted to pick you up,"
"That's not-"
"Please," he begs. "Stop arguing with me for once, and get in the damn car," I sigh and nod; defeated.
I'm so exhausted.
We walk to a gray Capri and surprisingly I smile as I step into the left side, seating myself.
Harry got into the car and started the engine, driving out of the neighborhood.
"Did you seep well?" He asks. I look to him, his eyes were trained onto the road, one arm on the arm rest and the his hand on the steering wheel. I turn my head back to the road and fold my hands in my lap.
"Yes." I shortly answer.
"You look nice today," my stomach flutters at his compliment but I answer shortly once again.
"Thanks,"
And then it was silent. Harry lets out a frustrated sigh, and I knew he was battling his words and what he should or should not say.
After many minutes later, we've made it to the company, us both walking in and entering the lift as usual. The tension was there. You could really feel it.
I was uncomfortable for the first time.
Finally making it to the floor, we step out of the lift and at the desk was a blue eyed blond. I smiled immediately even though I thought Sandra was going to be there.
"G'morning, Perrie."
She beams. "Good morning, Summer, Mr. Styles," Harry nods shortly and I roll my eyes. I give her a wave as we enter his office and the first thing that leaves my mouth was,
"Why isn't Sandra at her desk?"
Harry turns around as I close the door and stares at me. Waiting impatiently, I cross my arms over my chest, the bracelets cold against the skin between my breasts.
