So today I decided I wanted to swing on the swing set in the backyard. Well yeah that wasn't a good idea. It is a wood swing set that is old and has been outside in the rain and the wood has started to rot.
So I was swinging on it not very high so that it didn't break and I start to hear creaking noises. Well the swing set always creaks so I thought I was fine.
Well I wasn't fine. All of a sudden while I am swinging I hear a crack and then there is his plank of wood right in my face. I stopped myself and almost got hit in the face with a swing set.
The lesson here kids is to make sure your swing set isn't rotten. Good way to check is if it is on the ground. Yeah so I had to text my dad at work and he called me and was like go get the ladder and put it under the beams to support it and I'm like freaking out cause I just broke a swing set.
How does one live with themselves after they break a swing set? Now I want to walk down the streets to the park and swing in the metal swing set there. It sounds a lot a safer.
