Sprained tendons

Sorry if you guys think I died. So I'm going to tell you all about how I sprained the tendons in my ankle. So I hurt my ankle a while ago and basically what happened was I tripped playing soccer, (football). This was a few years and my ankle has hurt off and on for a while now. So a few weeks ago I was in the kitchen making myself dinner when my ankle gave out on me. Now this is normal for me, (apparently not for other people though), and my foot went numb. The numbness was new and I want that worried I figured it would go away after a few minutes. It didn't. It went away a few hours later and my ankle hurt to put pressure on it. I told my parents and they didn't really seem to care and told me to put on my cheap brace. That brace did nothing. Just gonna state the facts.  I took some medicine to take away the pain and that didn't do much. I started walking differently to get the pain to stop. Some times the pain was there sometimes it wasn't. After about a week since I fell my parents finally decided to take me to the emergency room at a foot and ankle place. The doctor took me in bent my foot in one way and said, "yeah there is an injury there." Now let me tell you something. I've had my ankle x rayed before, I went to a foot doctor, all for the same problem. My ankle hurts to put pressure on it. They all told me I was perfectly fine. Anyway so this doctor x rayed my foot just to make sure I didn't break anything. And I didn't. But what I did do was sprain the tendons in my ankle. Basically how the doctor explained it was, your tendons are like rubber bands. If you stretch them slowly they will go back to the original shape. If you repeatedly stretch it, it will break. And if you stretch it out too fast it looses shape. What the doctor told me I did was I stretched the tendon out too much once and then since then have repeatedly stretched it out. So now I have a brace that I have to wear that keeps me from moving my ankle at all. This is helpful because apparently I roll my ankle a lot more than normal people do? That's a bad picture I know.

And now I have to go to physical therapy and stuff and my ankle still hurts

And now I have to go to physical therapy and stuff and my ankle still hurts. And weird story about this. I was walking down the steps and my ankle "gave out" on me but since I can't move my ankle at all I just got this really weird feeling up my leg. So bye guys! I didn't die. I'm going to take some more pain medication and ice my ankle.
