How to write a one shot

Hi guys, so this is not a one shot, but there will be one up soon. Anyways, this is how to write a one shot. Enjoy.

Step 1: figure out what kind you want. (Ex. Cute, funny, sad, sexual)

Step 2: figure out who you want in it. (Ex. Your favorite ship couple)

Step 3: imagine the plot first, so if you're making a cute one imagine it in your head. (Ex. Think of the couple together in your head and think of them doing things.) (Ex 2. Replace a character and put yourself in it, imagine yourself as the character, and think of things that you want to happen)

Step 4: get creative, add more detail, more thoughts, more dialogue (talking).

Step 5: Don't try too hard, don't try to make it over the top, amazing, perfect, because you'll just get frustrated, and it's most likely good the first time around.

Step 6: read some other one shot books, try to see how they're written, and use the plots, don't use it exactly, but you can use the story line.

Step 7: Have fun, use your imagination, And if it's a BxB one shot you're amazing!! Because Gay couples are yay couples and straight couples pull one's weight. Only a few straight couples are great though, anyways, Hope this helps. <3 love you babes.
