*Skate's POV*
I smiled when I saw Sammy walking towards the section I was in. He didn't smile back, he just looked at me with the same cold eyes. I instantly picked up the phone, and he did once he sat down.
"Hi baby," I said softly. "Hey," he said, a faint smile appearing. "How are things?" I asked. "Good, really good....how are things for you?" I sighed softly, "things are rough, but I have to stay strong, I mean it's prison after all." He nodded, then looked down, "only one more year." I smiled, "only one more year, and I'll be right there with you." Sammy looked up and pressed his hand to the glass that separated us. I placed my hand on the glass, with it aligned to his. "I love you," Sammy said softly as tears filled his eyes. "I love you too, awwwwh baby don't cry, please don't cry, I can't comfort you," I said as tears started running down my cheeks. Sammy sniffled as tears starting to come out of his eyes, "you're making me cry now." I chuckled and smiled at him causing him to laugh a bit. "Only a year baby, we can get through this, just know I love you very much and I think about you every day," I said trying to comfort him. "I love you very much too, and just know when you get out, I'm not letting go of you, ever. I'm also probably going to slap you," he said laughing at the end. I nodded and laughed, "I deserve that."
After a few more minutes of talking, Sammy was asked to leave. "I love you," he said smiling. I smiled, "I love you too baby, I'll see you next week" he blew me a kiss, then put the phone back up on the hook. I sighed and put the phone on my side up. "Let's go Maloley," the guard said. Sammy looked at me once more and I gave a small wave. "I love you" I mouthed to him as I got up.
I followed the guard back to my cell and laid down once I got there. Sammy was stuck on my mind.
