Aaron x Hayes

*Hayes's POV*
I laid in my boyfriend Aaron's arms playing with his fingers. "Aaron, I love you" I said. We never had said I love you, but I felt love for him, my heart burned while I was around. He stayed silent and didn't say anything. I lifted my head up off his chest and looked at him "Do you not love me?" I asked looking at him. "Hayes.....I don't k-" "it's been 8 months Aaron, look if we aren't together for love, why are we together?" I asked getting angry that he didn't say it back. "Hayes it's not like that" he tried to explain but I didn't listen. "Whatever," I said Ripping out of his hold and getting up. "Hayes wait" he said grabbing my arm. "No! Goodbye Aaron" I said grabbing my shoes and slipping them on. "Baby-" I grabbed my penny board and walked off before he could say anything.

I skated angrily home, I guess I didn't realize I was crying as I was going home, but Nash did. As soon as I got inside he looked at me and immediately got up and hugged me. "What happened Hayes?" He asked me. I took a minute to cry on his shoulder then explain everything. "You can't get mad at him, he did date Matt for a while, Matthew broke his hard, Maybe he was just scared" Nash said. I nodded my head in agreement and went upstairs into my room to cry. Why was I such a jerk? I grabbed my pillow and cuddled up to it, it was not as great as Aaron's cuddles. I started to drift off to sleep but I heard a knock at the door. "Come in" I mumbled. The door opened and Aaron was there looking sadder than ever. He shut the door and came to my bed and sat next to me "Hayes," he said and grabbed my hand "I'm sorry, I'm sorry I didn't say it back, I was scared, I am scared, I'm so fucking scared to give Someone my heart again," he said, a tear fell from his face and onto my hand. "Aaron, I know, I'm sorry, it's okay, you don't have to be scared anymore, I won't hurt you" I said almost whispering it. "I know you won't, because you said I love you first. Something that Matthew didn't do" he said looking at me.  "Well I'm not sure how much this helps right now, but I really do love you" I said squeezing his hand. "I know," he whispered "I love you Hayes" he whispered bringing tears to my eyes. He said it back, he's not scared anymore. I pulled him down by me and pressed my lips to his smiling. He smiled and caused us both to laugh, "Hayes I love you," he said with a huge smile on his face, like he'd been dying to say it. "Aaron I love you too" I chuckled and pecked his lips. He wrapped his arms around my waist and I wrapped mine around his neck, and we fell asleep in the perfect position.
