Before you continue:

Congratulations! You made it to book 3! The final part of my giant Miraculous rewrite (pls kill me oh my god).

Here's the Synopsis:

It's over. Ladybug and Chat Noir now know who Hawkmoth is, but what can they do about it? Death is on the mind, Chat Noir is a sentimonster, Paris is still cursed, and taking down Gabriel Agreste means ripping apart Adrien in the process. The end is near. Is taking down Hawkmoth even possible? Or will Ladybug have to say goodbye to Chat Noir to defeat their enemy?

:D

RIP guys.

I'm FINALLY back though so... Yay!!!!! Updates will be... hopefully consistent but no promises. Hoping to get a good chunk of this done before I go back to work in the summer. I'm also writing a movie right now so my time is uh... All over the place (don't get excited, we all know this movie will never see the light of day). JOYOUS!

Okay I will not delay any further. I FREE YOU! GO FORTH AND READ!

There was never skinship of any sort between Adrien and his father. If there had ever been, it had not only frayed but it dissolved entirely when he heard those words.

Hawkmoth is Gabriel Agreste.

Adrien could tolerate abuse. Once, twice, three times. As long as he needed to. The memory of his mother kept him going. She was fleeting. He hardly knew her anymore. Now, the truth clicked into place a little too quickly. He didn't question or hesitate about its harshness. How blunt it had been. It was the truth. Without a doubt. Adrien was done. His life was crumbling, starting the moment he slammed the giant front doors of the Agreste mansion shut with a cacophonous bang.

The hate he wanted to spew so venomously at his father was not something that could easily be censored. Yet when he finally encountered the man, none of those words could come out, and he found he could not look at him. He brushed him aside. He wanted to beat Gabriel, the man who was once his father. He wished so terribly to beat that man into a pulp. The world no longer could ever reflect what Adrien thought it could be. And it was thanks to that awful, awful man.

He ignored his father and went to find Natalie instead. If anyone could be sane in this situation, it was her. He wanted to rip his own father's face off. He wanted to crucify him and string him up for all of Paris to see. He needed him to feel all the pain he'd felt for the past few months as Chat Noir, and it would start with spraying acid on his face–as had happened to himself with Evillustrator.

There was a man cleaning one of the gathering rooms. Adrien usually would cross this room in pursuit of the north hall where Natalie's quarters were. He rarely spent any time in this room. He used to play here as a child as it was a very open space with plenty of room to run. He had not been here much since then, except to pass through. This time, however, he halted his step.

The man cleaning the room was a tall figure. He'd been hired by Gabriel a few months ago, around Christmas time. He'd caught the two collaborating on art together and couldn't decide if this man was an intern, a maid, or just another assistant, one rank below Natalie. But now, it was painfully obvious to him who this man was.

"Dusuu?" The name slipped past his lips without a thought. It just came to him, and he couldn't help but blurt it.

Dusuu looked up. It had been his name called, after all. His face was mortified for a moment before suddenly overwhelmed with joy. However, he had to contain himself and stay there. Slowly, he continued wiping down the mantle, but he acknowledged Adrien with a look.
