A/N I'm back bitches

"Fraay!" Ladybug shouted at the top of her lungs. She flew over Paris by aid of her wings which did not tire. "Fraay! I know you're out there!"

She swooped over the main tourist district which was half submerged in water. She could see a line of dead locusts floating on the water, like a trail that would lead her to the Egyptian kwami.

"Fraay! Come on! I know you can hear me!"

An idea came to her. She veered her course and charged in the direction of the Louvre. That was where they first found Fraay after all. She discovered the glass pyramids of the museum to be shattered. There was less water here so she was able to find the entrance by foot. When she lowered herself into the Louvre main lobby, she found where all the water had gone. Again, she had to fly so she didn't trod through the flood.

"Fraay!" she shouted, "Fraay!"

"Ladybug," a soft voice finally answered. Ladybug spun and discovered Fraay herself floating over the water beneath the shattered pyramid. She'd never spoken so softly. She was a brash kwami, with a fiery, angry spirit. To see her so sad, yet so calm, was almost unnerving.

"I need your help," Ladybug said, flying up to her.

"There is nothing I can do to help that I haven't done already," Fraay said solemnly. She revealed a box to Ladybug with multiple compartments to it. "This is the Egyption Miracle Box," she said as she opened it. Inside, nothing was revealed. Just empty slots meant to contain jewelry. "As you can see, I found all the miraculous, including the box. And I destroyed them. I don't know where my remaining kwami friends are. But with my power against them, those who still lived are now surely dead."

"Why... Would you do this?" Ladybug asked hesitantly.

"Look around you, young girl," Fraay said sternly, "this is not a world that rejoices heroes spawned from kwamis. This is a world harmed by our kind. Most boxes across the world are long lost. I think it is time for yours to go as well."

"I agree," Ladybug replied, "but I need you now before you choose to go."

"I am selfish," said Fraay, "I am driven by emotion. I am dangerous."

"It's okay–"

"How can you say that? I cursed your land for the crime of an akuma killing someone I loved. So many have died from akumas. I should have helped you all instead."

"Release your curse, then," Ladybug said, "that is a good start in undoing all the wrong engulfing us."

Fraay nodded. She didn't do anything, but Ladybug assumed the curse had just been lifted. And if not, it would be soon. She'd make sure of that.

"Only four of us remained," Fraay said to her, "there was Lynn, the frog kwami of jubilation. She couldn't hurt the world. Her only ability was to make things appear silly, to relax the mind. She didn't have to go, yet I destroyed her head piece anyway."

She drew a breath. Ladybug remained silent, assuming it best to let the ancient woman vent out her woes.

"There was Dryxx, the ox kwami of domination. He could control minds, which you might think was a danger but he was wise to rarely allow that power to fall to human hands. He only ever used it to calm victims and aggressors, which would settle conflicts more easily."

Fraay tightened her grip around the box. Ladybug saw splitters sprout from around her fingertips. "And lastly, there was Mee. The sphynx kwami of veracitation. She could make people speak the truth. Nothing harmful. She was so jovial. Next to Lynn, those two could brighten any room they walked into. Long have I missed them. I've missed them all. But those three still lived. I hoped to find them. We'd make peace. We got in a scuffle a few centuries ago and I fear none of them have forgiven me. I suppose I deserve that. I just... wanted to make amends before I... Destroyed them."
