Brandon's POV:
Brandon waits axiously outside the class Allison is in, Nate beside him.
"Dude, you should really stop fidgeting." Nate groans at him.
"Well I'm sorry! Just because your so chill because you have a girlfriend doesn't mean I'm chill to you know!" He scowls.
Nate rolls his eyes at Brandon, until the bell rang. People were coming out of the classrooms, and Brandon was looking for Allison when he spots her.
He walks up to her. "Allison," he calls her. She turns around to face him.
"Brandon? What are you doing here?" She asks him, puzzled. He clears his throat. "Well, I wanted to show you something." She looks at him carefully. "Okay..."
He directs her to where they were going, passing by Nate. Nate looks at him and mouths 'Good Luck.' Brandon nods and walks with Allison.
They walk to the gardens of the school, Allison looking with awe. "It's really beautiful here." She says, making Brandon's heart race more.
But what really catches her eye was lettering. There was lettering hanging on the tree they were coming close too. She stops to read what it was forming, and it slowly read, "W.I.L.L.Y.O.U.G.O.T.O.P.R.O.M.W.I.T.H.M.E.?."
She was in complete shock when she saw Brandon walking towards her nervously, holding a boquet of roses with a note that read ALLISON."So will you?" He asks her carefully.
Deep down his head, one part was saying "She won't say yes!" Or "SAVE YOUR SELF!" But he gets the biggest shock with what she says.
"Yes."
Iris' POV:
Mr. Roberts came into the gym for the meeting a few minutes after Hazel, Iris, and Ammie came. He claps his hands together to catch everyone's attention.
"Alright, people." He starts. "We are all here today for one event and one event only which is the Aldercrest High's Juniors Prom."
Everyone gives whoops including Ammie and Hazel. Iris just smiles, but keeps her mouth shut.
"Alright, settle down now." Mr. Roberts tells them. "The Prom commitee is divided into four groups. Decoration, Program, Lighting and Music, and lastly The Catering." He points to the papers on the black board beside him.
"All of you have been put into a respective group. I'll give you five minutes to check where your respective group is and who your teacher chaperone is."
As he gives the go signal, the students huddle over to the black board to see where they were placed. Hazel and Ammie go over to the boards, leaving Iris behind sitting by herself."Why aren't you going there?" A voice asks behind her. She turns around to see a guy with blonde hair and brown eyes wearing a button up shirt.
Feeling the need to be honest, she answers him,"I'm claustrophobic."He smiles. "Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one."
Iris gives him a small smile. "What's your name?"
"Er-I'm Alec."
"Nice to meet you Alec." She smiles.
She notices Hazel and Ammie taking a seat near the front talking to each other. "Um, listen Alec, I need to go for a while. My friends, you see." She tells him.
He nods. "Of course, sure." She smiles and walks towards her friends. Hazel spots her walking towards her and smiles at her. "Who was that?"
"Some guy named Alec." She smiles, he was kind-of cute, she thought.
