Hazel's POV:
After a few moments, the group of friends all gathered at one table, waiting for the program to start. Nate sneaked his hand into hers and traced circles on palm. She seemed kind of tense to him, but when he did the action, she relaxed a bit.She looks at Nate and gives him an appriciative smile.
"Alright everybody!" The Emcee, their batchmate, cheered. "Let's get this party started!"
The whole batched cheered inside the gym, of course including Hazel and her friends.
"But first, before all proms, let's give it up for our dear principal. Ms. Darcy Johnson!"
The people in the room claps. "Yes, yes, very lovely like always." He winks.
"And, we would also like to acknowledge The Prom Comittee headed by our very own, Mr. Roberts!"
Everyone in the room cheered for Mr. Roberts. Well, he is a really favoured teacher here, thought Hazel.
"Now, I'm supposed to do some opening remarks, but I'm just gonna skip that." He says. "Everyone, the bouffet tables are now open!"
"Finally." Hazel says.
The three boys of the group stand up. "I'll go get you some food." Nate tells her.
"Are you sure babe? I could go get it myself." She insists.
"Nope. I'm good. Be right back." He says, leaning down to kiss her forehead and then dashing off.
Brandon and Jonathan were getting food for their ladies, only Jonathan offered Iris as well, in which she did not deny.
"I'm not going into that crowd." She shrugs. Ammie and Hazel understand, but Allison was still confused.
"Why?" She asks.
"Iris here is claustrophobic." Ammie explains. "She can barely stand small and tight places."
Allison nods, saying she now understands. A group of girls, all wearing dresses that consisted of red, passed by their table and glared at Allison. Then just simply passed away from them.
"What the hell was that about?" Iris blurted out.
"Why did they glare at you?" Hazel asks.
"Well, you see, I used to go with them." Allison explains. "But I didn't want to, really. It was kind of forced."
Hazel was confused. "What do you mean forced?" She asks.
"I was bestfriends with one of them. But she just changed. They use people for their popularity." She says, a little venom coming from her tone.
Hazel sensed that the group of bimbos were really bitches from what Allison said. And from what they were wearing, oh please. It was so obvious. Their dresses were against almost all the rules of the dress code. Truly they were bitches.
"It's alright Allison." Ammie says. "You could hang out with us."
"That seems wonderful." She smiles.
Then plates of food were shown to them. Pasta, chicken, meat, and the like.
"Food for our very lovely ladies." Nate announces.
"Well then lets eat!" Hazel cheers.

Ammie's POV:
Everyone finished eating, chatting about a few topics. Then, the Emcee called everyone's attention."Alright everyone!" He calls out. All eyes turned to him. "I just recieved the go signal from our lovely principal. The dance floor is now open everyone!" He announced. Then, the music begins to play.
