Hazel's POV:
The next period was the time to prepare for prom. Iris and Hazel went together to their group while Ammie went alone at the program group. Hazel suggests that she separates the decor group into subgroups. Another group will do the white lanterns while some will help with lighting to the lanterns, the others will assemble the pieces for the tables, another group for the fountain, and so on. Hazel manages the groups and guides them. She would often look at her notes and help the other groups with their assignments. She takes a sit and looks at her notes. Iris scribbled there:
-Delivery of Chandelier todayHazel sighs. Everyone was busy, she spots a guy whooping with his group which was the group assigned to music. Hazel looks at her group but instead finds Mr. Reed in front.
"Hey Hazel." He says with a smile.
"Nice job your doing." he says
"Oh thank you Mr. Reed." Hazel says
"Sure no problem." He says then he starts talking about the decoration. Hazel shows him the floor plan."You will do a great job." He smiles
"Thank you... Again." Hazel replies with all sincerity
The balloons were done, she has to reassign them to the fountain and the feather pieces for each table. She approaches Samantha, assigned to the ice center piece.
"Hey Sam, how's the ice piece?" Hazel asks"My dad's friend will be helping us sculpt, it's just that the current temperature might melt the ice." She says
"Sure thanks Sam." Hazel says with a smile
"Sure thing, we'll be doing the sculpture outside school." She says
"Good thing." Hazel says with a smile
For the rest of the hour Hazel helped with the feather pieces for each table. Iris approaches her."Nice job boss." Iris says
Hazel laughs."Just doing my job." Hazel says.
"So what are you doing?" Hazel asks.
"The Chandelier hasn't bloody arrived yet. They said today! But it's almost dismissal." Iris says.
"Will you be staying?" Hazel asks.
"I will." Iris sighs.
"Hey you can do this. You're doing a great job." Hazel smiles.
"Thanks sis." Iris smiles back.
The whoops of the other group cause the other groups to look at them.
"Okay guys, you all definitely need something to pump your mood." The male voice says coming from the microphone.
The guy jumps at the side of the stage and then everybody started dancing and singing.
Hazel's POV:
Hazel approaches Iris and asks if she would go with her and Nate.
"I'll stay a bit longer." Iris says.
"Take care. I mean it." Hazel says in her mom tone.
"Mom, I will don't worry." Iris says with sarcasm when she said mom.
It was just Mr. Reed and Iris.
"They're not yet here." Iris exclaims.
"We'll wait, don't worry." Mr. Reed says.
"It's okay, I'm fine. I could manage." Iris says.
"No, you need help when you get the chandelier besides I'm the teacher chaperone." He says.
