Iris' POV:
They were all in the limo. Brandon being all gentleman to Allison by wrapping an arm around her waist. They both were smiling at each other. For Jonathan and Ammie, they both were holding hands. Jonathan was whispering something to Ammie that made her grin. Hazel was talking to Iris making sure she was okay.
"You sure you're okay?" Hazel asks for the 10th time.
Iris sighs. "Yes, mom." She rolls her eyes.
Hazel smiles."Good."
Hazel pulls some strands down to Iris' face.
"That's more like it." Hazel grins
Iris sighs. Iris sees Nate smile at Hazel.
Love birds, Iris mutters.
Nate pulls Hazel closer to him and puts and arm around her waist. Hazel smiles at him and holds his other free hand. Iris obviously gagged by the PDA everyone was displaying.
Alone again, as usual.
Everyone started talking about prom. Ammie smiles.
"Tonight will be hella awesome." Ammie chirps
Brandon whoops. Allison wraps and arm around his arm. Iris felt lonely in the inside. Flying solo as usual. Iris sees Hazel giving her a reassuring smile.
Hazel must have felt her loneliness. Brandon fist bumps Iris shoulder.
"Hey cheer up." He says with a smile
Iris sighs "I am"
Hazel slaps Brandon's hand away from Iris and hisses.
"Now now don't touch my masterpiece." Hazel says
"Geez I will never understand girls." Brandon says
Hazel always bring her phone, grabs her phone and takes a photo of Ammie and Jonathan being all gooey. Ammie covers her face and Jonathan laughs.
"You're so adorable." He says to Ammie. Ammie blushes.
Next minute the car was filled with light, the flash coming from Hazel's phone. Hazel laughs. Iris leans closer to the car window. Enjoying the darkness filled street lights. Lights flashes on her eyes.
"Yeeeeiiiisssshhh!!!" Iris squeals
Hazel laughs and smiles
"What a way to ruin the moment." Iris says
"You all should lighten up! Music!" Allison suggests
Ammie suggest "METAL!!" Brandon and Hazel whoops.
The others stare in horror.
"Kidding" Ammie says
"Bon Jovi?" Brandon asks
Hazel whoops.
Everyone else except for Hazel and Brandon shakes their head. Iris grabs the phone and speakers and plays the song "Iris".
Hazel's head was on Nate's chest. Brandon and Allison were staring at each other. Ammie was listening to Jonathan singing. For Iris she was staring into the empty streets. The music suddenly stopped and All time low started playing.
Hazel starts singing.
"Manage me, I'm a mess."
Ammie chirps in
"I'm a book half unread."
Everyone started singing.
"Laughed at laughed with Just because I wanna feel weightless
And that should be enough."
Brandon, Ammie and Hazel sings the guitar tune. It's a tradition for them to imagine strumming an electric guitar. The mood of everyone was better. This went on for the next few minutes. Hazel played The Cab after that Brandon played Bon Jovi. The limo stops. The girls squealed. Iris carries her dress.
These heels are killing me, she thought to herself.
Nate opens the door for Hazel and gives her a hand.
"Ma lady?" He asks with a smile
